MSI Announces Its Intel Bay Trail J1800I Motherboard Posted: 09 Feb 2014 05:48 PM PST Details on MSI's version of new J1800-based motherboardsWhile several manufacturers have already put forth announcements about new J1800-based motherboards, MSI is now throwing its hat into the ring with the J1800I, a Mini-ITX board packing an Intel Celeron J1800 CPU. MSI's version of the J1800 motherboard has two DDR3 SODIMM slots to accommodate up to 8 GB of memory, as well as one PCIe slot, two SATA2 ports, and USB 2.0 headers. The Celeron J1800 CPU is also a dual-core Bay Trail processor with a base frequency of 2.41 GHZ and 1 MB of L2 cache. As far as rear I/O connectivity, there's a USB 3.0 port, a DVI port, an HDMI port, and two USB 2.0 ports as well as HD audio jacks and gigabit ethernet.
