As revealed a month ago, the team actively solicited feedback from the ESO player base and, based on that, the Champion System will be undergoing some tweaks and refinements. |
Age of Conan: Unchained: New Achievement System & Crafting Update on Tap for 2015 Posted: 09 Jan 2015 01:47 PM PST The latest Age of Conan: Unchained Producer's Letter has been released. The letter begins with a recap of 2014 and moves on to give players a sneak peek ahead at what 2015 has in store. Among other things, Funcom has plans to introduce a new achievement system and will finally push the long-awaited crafting update out the door. |
General: Shadow of Mordor, Hearthstone, Destiny Up for GDCAs Posted: 09 Jan 2015 01:40 PM PST The Game Developers Choice Award nominees have been announced and a trio of big titles have been named. Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has been nominated in five categories including Game of the Year. Destiny has also received a nod for Game of the Year and has nominations in other categories. Blizzard's Hearthstone has also received nominations in multiple categories. The GDCAs will take place on March 4th. |

The Secret World: First Producer's Letter Takes a Look at 2015 Posted: 09 Jan 2015 01:25 PM PST Joel Bylos has published the first Director's Letter for The Secret World. The first part of the letter takes a look back at the year that was and then launches into a preview of 2015. Among other things, TSW's Tokyo storyline will be brought to a close and be opened for all players, new multiplayer content will be added and the new player experience is going to receive some attention. |

It may not make new fans of people who have already dismissed the F2P themepark, but for those who've always enjoyed Arborea's mix of action, questing, and dungeoneering there's a lot to love in the free expansion Fate of Arun. |
General: Battleline: Steel Warfare Looks Pretty Intriguing Posted: 09 Jan 2015 04:55 AM PST Before Christmas, I met with Bandai Namco to see and talk about its new upcoming tank battler, Battleline: Steel Warfare. Expecting the standard half hour demo, I was pleasantly surprised to be treated to an enthusiastic 90 minute discussion of why Battleline is so much fun, and why its potential addictiveness should make World of Tanks worry. |
