Dark and Light - Camps, Cities and NPCs in Dark and Light

Cities are core elements of Dark and Light. Compared to traditional sandbox survival games, where the player's character is simply dropped into the world, naked and alone, Dark and Light starts the player off in one of three distinct cities. This lends to a more "civilized" start for the player, and introduces them to the world in a friendlier way.

Fallout Shelter Gets a Spooky Update

Even Vault Dwellers need to celebrate from time to time. Thanks to today's update to Fallout Shelter, they can! With the new patch, players can add a Halloween theme to their shelter as well as craft special themes in the Theme Workshop that show off allegiances. Crafting recipes for factional themes based on Brotherhood of Steel, the Minutemen, the Railroad and the Institute. Both faction recipes and crafting materials for the Holiday Themes can be found via newly added quests.

Bioware's Jade Empire Arrives for iOS Devices

Asypr Media, in conjunction with Bioware, has released Jade Empire for iOS mobile devices. Jade Empire will run $9.99 and brings the entire RPG experience with a new control system and brand new achievements to earn through forty hours of game play. Aspyr also ported Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic to iOS.

World of Warcraft - Legion Just Became a Bit More Alt Friendly

The World of Warcraft team has some good news for Legion players who love to have as many alts as possible. While faction reputation will not become account-wide, a pair of very welcome changes will be heading into the game with the 7.1 update. Most notably, upon hitting 110, players will unlock world quests without the need to have attained 'friendly' status with each faction. This kicks in once a single character on an account has completed these objectives.

Adventure Quest 3D - Multi-Platform Open Beta to Launch on October 18th

Artix Entertainment has posted a brand new video to announce the big news that the open beta for AdventureQuest 3D is heading into open beta on October 18th barring any strangeness in launching a multi-platform title. AQ3D's open beta will launch simultaneously for Steam (PC/Mac), iOS mobile devices and Android mobile devices.

Overwatch - Jeff Kaplan - New Hero 'Soon', One Next Year & New Maps
