TERA: Console Port in the Works

MMOCulture is reporting that job advertisements on developer Bluehole Studios indicate that a console port of TERA is in the works. From the description, developers for both PlayStation 4 and XBox One are sought.

General: Razer Opens First Brick & Mortar Store in San Francisco

Razer has opened the doors of its first American brick-and-mortar store in San Francisco, California. The massive store features two floors containing all of Razer's systems, peripherals, audio and broadcast software and a selection of clothing items and other gear as well. In addition, gaming stations sprinkled throughout the store where customers can try out PC and console set ups and much more. Patrons are invited to stay all day and play games right there in the store.

Obsidian's CEO Feargus Urquhart participated in an interview with GamePressure.com. The interview took place during Digital Dragons 2016 in Poland and, while the full interview is not yet published, the site revealed the great news that Pillars of Eternity 2 is already in the works.

So it turns out that MMOs can still make a lot of money. Who'd have thought it? After the release of the NCSoft Earnings Report for the first quarter of 2016, it seems they're in good shape. Unless your part of the WildStar development team or playerbase, things are looking particularly rosey. Sales are up by around 30% from the year before, with profits having jumped 70% on the previous period. That's a sizeable improvement and one NCSoft's shareholders are likely very pleased about.

Guild Wars 2: A World Of Improvements

The scoring system in World vs. World has always seemed imperfect to me. It was a worthwhile first attempt, but after three years it's well past due for a change. It may have taken a poll to get ArenaNet to finally take steps to address it, but at least something's being done, and I think the upcoming changes will do a lot to make WvW more enjoyable.
