Dragon Age: Inquisition: Comic Tie-In, Magekiller, Now Available

Bioware and Dark Horse Comics have announced that the first issue in a new series of Dragon Age comics is now available for digital and physical purchase. Called Dragon Age: Magekiller, this latest series will tell a story of Tessa and Marius, mercenaries hunting those who use blood magic.

World of Darkness: White Wolf Lays Out Assertive Plan for WoD IP

White Wolf CEO Tobias Sj�gren and Lead Storyteller Martin Elricsson took to the stage in a recent fan event to lay out plans for the future of the World of Darkness IP. According to the pair, the IP is alive and well with big plans for the coming years. Of special note is that a new computer RPG is in the works, perhaps building on assets reclaimed from CCP Games after WoD MMO was canceled in 2014.

Fans of the Kingdom Hearts series will be happy to see that a brand new trailer has arrived that shows off a bit of gameplay from both Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and Kingdom Hearts 3.0. The trailer coincides with Japan's Jump Festa.

So while it's going to be a week or so before I get to see The Force Awakens, and I'll be avoiding the internet for fear of spoilers throughout that time, I'm doing the next best thing: jumping back into Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Elder Scrolls Online: UPDATE: CS Center Still Open, Newspaper Report Erroneous

A local Irish newspaper is reporting that a local Customer Support Center for Elder Scrolls Online has been closed resulting in the loss of 300 jobs. Zenimax has closed its Galway, Ireland division just before the holidays. UPDATE: According to Zenimax, the newspaper is erroneously reporting the number of layoffs has been exaggerated and that the layoffs of a small number of employees happened in August. The customer support center is still open. Source
