Bless - Work Yet to be Done Prior to a Fixed Milestone Calendar

The Bless Product Manager has headed to Bless-Source.com to let fans know that Aeria is hard at work to deliver a great game to North America and Europe. During meetings with Neowiz, the team decided to leave a milestone calendar unspecified to give more time for improving performance, fixing bugs and adding polish. In addition, improvements are being made to the large battle scenarios including Capital War, Siege of Castra and others.

Business Insider is reporting that Blizzard's Chris Metzen, currently Senior Vice President of Story and Franchise Development, is retiring from gaming at only age 42. Metzen has been integral in the development of World of Warcraft and has worked on other titles in the company's portfolio.

Adventure Quest 3D - Open Beta to Kick Off in October

What has become apparent however, certainly over the last year and irrespective of which MMO website I choose to read, is the sense that massively multiplayer games are no longer the golden goose for developers. In fact, there's a growing sense that they're largely finished; the lack of upcoming AAA MMO's combined with the rise of the MOBA is testament to that.
