Destiny 2 is launching September 6th on Console, October 24th for PC

It seems we PC gamers will have just a few more weeks to wait before Destiny 2 graces our Blizzard App, though we can pre-order it now!

As reported at MMORPG.com, our BIG Sister Site:

It’s official. The PC version of Destiny 2 will be shipping on October 24th, 2017, roughly 6 weeks after it arrives on PS4 and XB1 on September 6th. Beta for the PS4 and XB1 begins on July 21st, with a PC beta beginning in August. Pre-orders are now live for the Battle.net PC version as well.

Our thoughts? Well, I played it on both PS4 and PC at the gameplay reveal. It’s clear the PC version is more playable, but for sure Sony and Microsoft will be happy they have a 6-week lead on the PC version (which I think will wind up being the bigger seller thanks to the built-in Battle.net support).

Monster Hunter World coming to PS4, XB1, and PC

While it was showcased and unveiled at the Sony PlayStation Experience conference, Capcom came out shortly after to confirm that yes, Monster Hunter World will be coming to Xbox One and the PC. The release was confirmed by the official Monster Hunter Twitter account, but expect the PC version after the console versions.

From PC Gamer’s story:

According to Capcom, the game will feature “a living breathing ecosystem” and will support up to 4-player drop-in cooperative play – with players in both the West and Japan able to play together. It will also feature “seamless gameplay”, with players and monsters able to move around the world with no loading screens. In other words, it’s a proper open world, with a night and day cycle.

Call of Duty WW2 Multiplayer Reveal Trailer

During tonight’s E3 PlayStation Showcase, Activision revealed the first Call of Duty WW2 multiplayer reveal trailer for the upcoming shooter due out this Fall.  It’s competing neck and neck with other shooters’ trailers if you ask us.

From the YouTube description:

Fast-paced, grounded combat returns in Call of Duty®: WWII Multiplayer. Armed with an arsenal of iconic Allied and Axis weaponry, players are immersed in brutal gameplay as they fight to liberate a continent in the throes of tyranny.

The new Divisions feature redefines how players invest in their MP career, giving them the chance to choose from five divisions, each with their own specialized training and weapons skills. In War Mode, an entirely fresh Call of Duty experience, players must work as a team and fight for control through multiple strategic objectives.

So gear up, and get ready to join the ranks on November 3rd.

Ubisoft Unleashes Its E3 Presser – Mario + Rabbids FINALLY Confirmed

Ubisoft Unleashes Its E3 Presser – Mario + Rabbids FINALLY Confirmed

Ubisoft is on hand today for E3 in Los Angeles. During its presser, the company revealed a number of new games as well as some old friends.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle CONFIRMED

After months of speculation and leaked images, we now know that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle cross over is real. Players will find the Rabbids somehow transported to the Mushroom Kingdom. As you’d expect, they team up with well known Nintendo characters including Peach, Mario, Luigi and Yoshi.

Beyond Good & Evil 2

Fans have been waiting for this one for a long time. Beyond Good & Evil 2 is coming soon and is a “prequel” to the first game. In fact, it takes place before Jade was even born. The new trailer sets the stage for BG&E2 as well as gives a sneak peek at the characters, strangely a primate and a woman. Go figure.

Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5 took the spotlight today with a brand new game  play trailer. Players take the role of a deputy working to free townsfolk from religious zealots. Far Cry 5 is either a single player game or two-player coop.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins

During Ubi’s presser today, the company announced a very special edition of Assassin’s Creed: Origins. The Creed Legendary Edition will cost $799.99 and come in a limited run of only 200 in North America. The boxed edition will contain a 29″ tall Bayek & Senu figure as well as a cloth map, special case, necklace and much more. You can see it for yourself on the Ubistore.

Assassins Creed Origins

The Crew 2

People are pretty excited by The Crew 2 after checking out today’s trailer. We are all used to cars and trucks as well as motorcycles. That’s normal. However, it’s the addition of planes that has people talking. Among all the excitement, however, there is a bit of a downer in that The Crew 2 won’t be coming until 2018. But there are PLANES!

Skull & Bones

Skull & Bones is a new multiplayer game from Ubisoft Singapore. If you remember Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, this naval combat game should seem pretty familiar. It takes place on the Indian Ocean and is a cooperative game or a PvP ship sinking fest. You can own a number of ships and there are a lot of customization options as well.

Steep Is Heading to the Olympics

Steep is Ubi’s extreme sports game and it’s heading to the Olympics! The expansion is called “Road to the Olympics” and it is themed around 2018’s Winter Olympics in Pyeong Chang. It will be released in December.

Transference VR

Ubisoft announced its “VR psychological thriller”, Transference. Not a whole lot was said, but it does have the involvement of Elijah Wood. The game centers on “the destructive tale of a man’s obsession as you explore his digitally recreated memories”. Sounds spooky.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole & New Mobile Game

South Park is another game that was trotted out by Ubisoft today. Fans were treated to a brand new trailer for South Park: The Fractured But Whole. While South Park has been delayed a few times, it seems that we’re on track for the October 13th release.

South Park characters will be busy in The Fractured But Whole as well as in South Park Phone Destroyer for, you guessed it: PHONES!

Just Dance 2018

If you love K-Pop, Just Dance 2018 is the game for you! It was introduced at the Ubisoft presser with some Mortal Kombat dancers and a Korean pop star named Hyuna. Just Dance 2018 is set for release in October.

Climbing, Weather, New Maps Headed Into PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

Climbing, Weather, New Maps Headed Into PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is going to be growing in a big way in the near future. During E3 this week, the team showed off some cool new features including climbing, weather effects and more.

Weather, Vaulting & Climbing PLUS New Maps

At the moment, PUKB features a single map, however, that can get a bit tiresome after awhile. Not to worry! The developers are working on a pair of new maps including one set in Peru, the other in the Adriatic.

In Peru, weather will change from time to time with wicked sandstorms that can reduce visibility. That’s a pretty significant liability in a survival shooter. In the Adriatic, snowfall can cause much of the same issue. This map also has a cool feature called the “cosmodrome” where weather can be changed manually. Other weather effects include fog and sunset.

Players will now be able to climb on top of structures as well as vault over them. The video shows off a player rolling off of cars, fences and along the ground. It’s a great way to escape those pesky bullets!

Bannerlord Game Play Video Blows Mount & Blade II Fans Away

Bannerlord is the next game in the Mount & Blade series. A new trailer was released during this week’s E3 in Los Angeles.

Bannerlord expands & improves

Many of the features that players love from Mount & Blade II are back, however, most are improved. The fighting system has been improved and expanded in addition to a larger game world.

Players will engage in siege warfare, participate in diplomatic efforts and enjoy a “sandbox economy”.  In addition, there is a robust in-game crafting feature as well as the ability to “craft” mods using the provided tools. Lastly, the developers have created an all-new engine just for this game.

Construct, position and fire a range of heavy machinery in sieges that will test your wits and skill like never before. Experience epic, sprawling combat across ramparts and rubble as you desperately hold on to your castle or seek to seize one from the enemy.

You batter a rival’s gate with your ram or burn his siege tower to ashes. The game lets you live every moment of a chaotic battle through the eyes of a single soldier.

You can learn more on the official Steam page.
