Black Desert Online - Awakenings Coming Every 2 Weeks, All Released by Year's End

The Black Desert Online forum has been updated with a new post about the forthcoming release window for all class Awakenings. The first, the Warrior, will take place on August 31st, followed by the Sorceress two weeks later. The interval between will allow the development team to address any potential balance issues and to ensure that updates fire off without a hitch.

Dark and Light - Buy to Play or Pay to Play, That is the Question

Conflicting information about the Dark & Light revenue model has emerged. 2P.com has reported that Snail Games representatives tweeted that the game would be "p2p game" indicating that it would run via subscription. However, another representative named "Horsejoke" wrote in the Dark & Light Discord channel that "you can consider PC (version) B2P confirmed" seemingly indicating that it would require a one-time purchase.

Fallout Shelter has been updated with a ton of new quests as well as new quest types including weekly quests, special event and holiday quests. Players can also spend Nuka-Cola Quantum to skip quest altogether.

Master of Orion Available Later Today on Steam & GoG

WG Labs and NGD Studios have announced that Master of Orion, the remastered version of the original, will be released at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern today. Players can get hold of a Standard Edition ($29.99) or a Collector's Edition ($49.99) either on Steam or GoG. Players who link Master of Orion to a Wargaming account will also receive a free copy of Total Annihilation.

Funcom to Players - All Forum Data Compromised

Funcom has posted a warning to players of all of it's games (The Secret World, Anarchy Online, Age of Conan, Longest Journey) that forum account data has been accessed by a third party. This includes email addresses, user names, encrypted passwords and came at the hands of a security flaw in the company's vBulletin forums.

Star Trek Online - Mirror Invasion Returning to Game Beginning August 25th

Star Trek Online players will get another chance to take part in a Mirror Invasion when it makes its return beginning Thursday, August 25th. The event will run through September 15th. During the Mirror Invasion, players will be able to earn Dilithium, Marks and a special Admiralty Card after completing a new reputation project.
