League of Angels has been updated with a trio of new features: A new Angel, a new Guardian Angel System and new items just in time for Groundhog Day. The Guardian Angel System allows players to take advantage of powerful angelic buffs during battle.

Arenanet Unveils Edge of the Mists WvW Map

ArenaNet is ready to take the wraps off the upcoming Edge of the Mists realm that players will discover alongside the Aetherblade, minions of arch-nemesis Scarlet Briar. The video gives players an inside look at the Edge of the Mists and includes a glimpse of crumbling edifices, ice-covered mountains, banks of impenetrable clouds and more.

This past week we showed you some very early footage of Eternal Crusade. I wanted to write up a recap of the weekend we spent in Montreal and talk about what Behaviour had shown us. There are a few parts to this story that really get me excited for what this game will offer. It may not be on the screen in the demos but you can definitely find it in the interviews and also in the passion that the team has for the 40K license.

Level 90 Character Boost Now on PTR

One of the immediate bonuses that World of Warcraft players will be able to take advantage of when preodering Warlords of Draenor is an instant "boost" to level 90 for a new or lower-level character. According to several posted screenshots on Imgur.com, the boost is already existing on the public test realm, perhaps an indication that preorders for the Warlords expansion are coming in the very near future.

27M Daily Users Reported by Riot Games

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that over twenty-seven million players log into League of Legends each and every day. The report was confirmed by Riot Games which also announced that it has counted 7.5M concurrent users, significantly up from last March's 5M.

Apparently, the fight for outer space is just beginning thanks to a huge battle going on as we speak. In addition, EVE Online Rubicon v1.1 is set to deploy on Tuesday, January 28th according to the latest developer blog on the official site. For years now, though not the original "trinity", MMOs have used a formula based around three play types called the tank, DPS, and healer. ArenaNet saw the terrible plague of LFG spam, and tried to remedy it with a new formula in Guild Wars 2. While you will never be looking for a certain profession in order to make a dungeon group, some still feel the lack of a true healing profession is hurting the game. In the past the WoW Factor column has focused primarily on World of Warcraft and occasionally dipped into other Warcraft related happenings such as the upcoming film. Going forward I am going to try to make this column about all things Warcraft, including Hearthstone. Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is setting out to break new territory with live streaming events that focus on game creation. Developers have committed to several events that will be hosted on Twitch.tv's Rob & Dan Show. The live stream events will focus on "desktop sessions" with Vu Nguyen, Senior Artist for Pantheon while other team members discuss the game over the audio feed.
