Your character is one of a handful of classes of beings who are gifted with special abilities by a mystical cube called Gaia. You can call upon Eidolons as companions and warrior-pets and battle it out with a world full of critters and bad guys, and generally have an adventure all over the landscape to help people and learn about your abilities. |
Guild Wars 2: Origins of Madness Sees the Return of Scarlet Briar Posted: 13 Jan 2014 02:50 PM PST ArenaNet has revealed the initial details for the first Guild Wars 2 update for 2014. Called "Origins of Madness", the content update will be released on Tuesday, January 21st and will pit players against Scarlet Briar and her new scourge, the Mechanical Marionette. To give players an idea of what they will be up against, ArenaNet has released a brand new trailer. |

EverQuest II: Sanctum of the Scaleborn Debuts as Fabled Dungeon Posted: 13 Jan 2014 02:36 PM PST Sony Online Entertainment has announced that the highest level EverQuest II players will be able to take on the Sanctum of the Scaleborn as a Fabled dungeon beginning on Thursday, January 23rd. Players will be rewarded with "appropriate level loot" in addition to challenging themselves to epic battles of the highest caliber. |

They don't just magically appear out of nowhere and then a bunch of soldiers just climb in and start blowing stuff up left and right. There's a lot of work that goes into designing these treaded monsters. And no one seems to know more about what it takes to put one together than Wargaming's Nicholas Moran. |

Brian's Tweet indicated that new gear and rewards will be coming along with this new season and that additional details, including a timeline, will be coming soon. |
Guild Wars 2: Living Story VS. Expansion, Fight! Posted: 12 Jan 2014 02:12 PM PST When Guild Wars 2 first launched, players flocked to the game in swarms at an insane pace, which of course had to have made ArenaNet very happy. ArenaNet came up with the Living Story to not only add more content, but to constantly evolve the game world. While the Living Story may help keep players occupied, is it enough to quench our thirst for new content, or is it time for an expansion? |
