Star Sonata: Beta Sign Ups Begin for Star Sonata 2

Landauer Games has announced that beta sign ups for Star Sonata 2 are now being accepted. The closed beta phase of development is slated to begin on September 10th. According to developers, Star Sonata 2 is set to transform the 'retro' look of Star Sonata 1 and change the look to a modern, polished MMORPG.

General: Star Legends Launches on iOS Devices

Spacetime Studios has announced that it has officially launched Star Legends: The Blackstar Chronicles for iOS devices. The game is the second mobile MMO from Spacetime. The first, Pocket Legends, has scored over five million downloads. Star Legends is free to download from iTunes.

The Secret World: The Secret War Experience Delayed

Funcom, citing technical difficulties, has decided to postpone the first phases of The Secret World's beta sign ups. There is not any mention of when The Secret War will begin and when players can start signing up for beta access. We'll keep you posted!

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Game Test Weekends Begin September 2nd

Outside of World PvP, the major announcement for Star Wars: The Old Republic at this year's PAX Prime is a begin date for the highly-anticipated game test weekends. At the panel, BioWare announced that gamers can expect the game test weekends beginning next weekend, September 2nd.

The Secret World: Persistent World PvP Demoed at PAX Prime 2011

Though our impressions of the system are coming Tuesday, our staff was on hand at PAX to take in the sights and sounds of The Secret World. Among the many reveals? Persistent World PVP was demoed for the press behind closed doors, and fans of Dark Age's much revered system are going to be extremely happy. We'll have more on TSW's PAX showing this Tuesday. Star Wars: The Old Republic: World PVP to Be Revealed at PAX Panel
