Rift: Ascended - 1, Irene - 0

The Rift development team has announced that the recent Half-Birthday celebration is being extended an additional week due to Hurricane Irene. The team felt that many players missed out on the event due to complications stemming from Irene. Players can take advantage of the birthday party through September 6th.

Battlestar Galactica Online: Balance Issues Addressed in Latest Patch

The official Battlestar Galactica Online Facebook page has a new article about the latest patch that will be deployed on August 31st. According to the post, several balance revisions and changes have been implemented with specific regard to armor and armor piercing, player ships, computer systems and many more.

The Secret World: Sign Up for Beta Without Facebook

In a brand new post on The Secret World's page, fans are told that they can sign up for the beta without a Facebook account. Fans merely have to have a Funcom forum account in order to get on board for the beta. The Secret War games and activities, however, are excluded from this method of signing up but does allow players to sign up for the beta.

Lord of the Rings Online: Guardian Developer Diary
