Path of Exile - Closed Beta date announced

Path of Exile, a new MMORPG developed by New Zealand based studio, Grinding Gear Games, has announced its first beta phase to begin on 10th August 2011. Everyone who register for an account over at Path of Exile's official website (link) will gain entry to the beta. Following the announcement, a new trailer was also uploaded for the new Templar class. You can read my past posts (link) for more info about the game!

Cabal II - China bootleg version

I am surprised when people still email me and leave me messages about me missing out on Cabal II for ChinaJoy 2011. For your information, I did not miss the game at all but I won't report on games from this blatant joke of a MMO company. This China bootleg "Cabal II" is developed by Moliyo, who had the rights to publish ESTsoft's original Cabal Online for mainland China.

After the agreement ended, Moliyo released information on this "Cabal II" and attempt to market it as the original's sequel. Despite Korean developer ESTsoft's best efforts to get the company to change the title and even threatened to go to court, we all know how the local government "protects" its homegrown companies.

So once again, this is NOT Cabal II from the original developer, but a lame attempt at trying to retain the player base of the original server. How does the graphics even look close to CryEngine 3's?

Digimon Masters Online - Closed Beta announced

(Official website) Originally scheduled to be published by WeMade Entertainment, Digimon Masters Online is now being published by Joyxmas instead. Joymax is known worldwide for its MMO, Silkroad Online and it has recently bought over the developer for Lost Saga Online.

In Digimon Masters Online, the character itself does not actually fight, but only his or her Digimon. And don't forget Digivolution (evolution)! Head over to the game's official website (link) now and learn more. Closed Beta starts 9th August 2011.

Dragonica Japan - New Origin Part II

Released a few days ago, the information was late due to ChinaJoy 2011 (again). So, Part II for the New Origins update for Dragonica Japan was teased, with the female Dragonkin (or Newt) getting the new Fighter class. A devastating melee class, the Fighter class comes in twos, where certain skills are done through a combination. One of the Fighter will be an AI and not controlled by the player. More info in my previous posts (link).

Players will finally get to kick Elga's (or Kyros) butt as well! This is a new 8-man raid dungeon where even the best equipped players will be severely tested...
