General: The Chosen Hits Open Beta

Snail Games has announced that its free-to-play title, The Chosen, has entered its open beta phase of development. In The Chosen, players fight alongside some of China's dynastic heroes in an effort to bring order to a war torn nation.

Star Trek Online: July Ask Cryptic Published

Cryptic Executive Producer Dan Stahl has published the July edition of the Star Trek Online Ask Cryptic. The series allows players to ask questions of the dev team. Among other topics, Stahl discussed whether or not Klingon missions would be redone, whether players will be able to skip cutscenes and much much more.

General: PlanetSide 2: Classified Info Coming July 7th

Sony Online Entertainment has officially launched the PlanetSide 2 site. Additionally, SOE has launched the PlanetSide 2 Facebook page with the information that there is "classified" information coming on July 7th.

Final Fantasy XIV: Enmity Overhauled

In the latest developer post on the Final Fantasy Lodestone with specific regard to upcoming battle changes, players are told that enmity calculation will be greatly overhauled and a new UI indicator will allow them to gauge the levels of hostility they have generated. According to the dev post, mastery of enmity is critical to success in battle.

Fallen Earth: Alpha County Update Delayed Slightly

The Fallen Earth team has announced that the Alpha County update has been delayed and moved to Thursday, July 7th. Alpha County was originally planned to deploy today but some IT/technical issues, the update was moved to Thursday.

EVE Online: Post-CSM Summit Press Conference Report

AdventureQuest Worlds: Die and Pay the Price

The AdventureQuest team has announced that players who die in the game will no longer see the nine second grayed out screen but will be forced to watch an ad instead. As developers say, "players scoffed at how there was no real punishment for dying in AQWorlds". Apparently, now there is.
