TikTok is becoming a popular application used for posting short videos. From “How To” videos to funny stunts, TikTok is a great platform that allows individuals to express themselves and their talents.
With over 800 million users around the globe, people are using this social platform like Facebook and Instagram. Offering customization options like adding music and filters, you may want to create a video and save it for later. Posting at the right time is important too, you can create the perfect video and post it when people are more likely to be online getting more views and engagements.
This article will teach you how to save and retrieve drafted videos in TikTok.
Make a Draft Video in TikTok
You have two ways of creating draft videos. You can record within TikTok and save it as a draft or shoot outside of TikTok and keep it on your phone until you need it.
To create a draft, do this:
Open the TikTok application and tap on the ‘+’ sign centered at the bottom of the screen.
Record your video
Make any necessary adjustments such as filters, adding music, etc.
Tap the red check at the bottom right-hand side of the screen
Tap ‘Next’ at the bottom right-hand side of the screen
Make any adjustments needed and select ‘Drafts’
This is ideal for shooting multiple scenes at once to make up different videos. You can edit and work on these videos and then publish them when you’re good and ready.
You can also shoot your video on your phone camera and keep it there until you need it.
Record your video and save it on your phone.
Select the ‘+’ icon to shoot a video.
Select Upload at the bottom right of the screen.
Select the video you want to use.
Arrange the video in the timeline as required and hit Next.
Perform any edits you need and hit Next.
Add any tags or captions and hit Post.
This has exactly the same result as shooting the video in TikTok. Nobody viewing it will know the difference.
Find Drafts in TikTok
Draft videos will be stored in your Gallery. As we set them to private, nobody else can see them, so they will remain there until you’re ready to use them. If you’re ready to publish, you can do it from your Gallery.
Select the profile icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen, it says ‘Me’
Tap on the drafted video
Make any adjustments to comments or viewer’s options
Arrange the video in the timeline as required and hit Next.
Edit or add captions if required.
Change privacy to Public or Friends Only and hit Post.
Your video will then go live, and your chosen audience will be able to view it as usual.
Editing Drafts in TikTok
Once you’ve located your Draft you do have the option to edit it again before posting. Follow the instructions above to locate your draft. Once you get to the pre-post screen asking you to add a description simply click the back arrow located in the upper left-hand corner. This will take you back to the editing screen.
Make any adjustments as you usually would click ‘Next’ and post.
Public and Private Videos in TikTok
TikTok gives you the option to set your video as ‘Private’ or ‘Public.’ You may want to set your video to private when creating a draft. The extra step is a precautionary measure to stop you from accidentally releasing the video before you’re ready. If you randomly select that video and publish it, the video will remain private.
Public videos are different. It is exactly that, public. It will be accessible to anyone using TikTok. If you’re using the network for marketing, you’re going to work with public videos most of the time, but keeping them private until you’re ready to publish is an extra security measure.
You can change a public video to private at any time, even after publication.
Select the video you want to make private in TikTok.
Select the padlock icon and select Private.
Your video will disappear from search and no longer be viewable by TikTok users. You can reverse this to make a private video public too.
Delete A Video In TikTok
If you ever need to delete a video in TikTok, that’s very straightforward too. It’s the nuclear option as the video will disappear from the network altogether, but it works. The preferred choice would be to make the video private but if you need to delete a video you can.
Open the video from within TikTok.
Select the arrow icon at the bottom of the screen to scroll the options.
Select the trash icon.
Confirm your choice.
There is no bulk delete option, so if you’re housekeeping, you’re going to need to do this for every video you want to remove.
Deleting Drafts
You may have several drafts saved in the TikTok app, or just one. If you’d like to delete it you can.
Open the TikTok app and click on the profile icon that says “Me” located in the lower left-hand corner
Tap ‘Select’ in the upper right-hand corner
Tap the bubbles next to the drafts you’d like to delete
Confirm by clicking ‘Delete’ in the pop-up box.
Although there are a few steps you have to follow, it seems some have accidentally deleted important drafts.
Can You Restore A Deleted Draft?
Several users have reported that they’ve accidentally deleted important apps. This can happen when clearing the apps’ cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, or clicking the ‘Delete’ option.
There isn’t a way to recover a deleted draft from the TikTok app. We’ve heard of a few third-party apps that can recover a deleted TikTok draft, but there’s no guarantee they work the way they should.
Installing third-party apps can also cause issues for your phone so be sure to read the reviews before downloading. The application will need to access all data in your phone’s deleted cache as well. To ensure that you don’t accidentally delete your drafts in the future, don’t empty your cache and back up all draft videos.
When trying to print something from your computer, you may sometimes find that your printer appears offline. There are many reasons for this, most of which can be solved quite easily.
This also relates to printers manufactured by Brother as well. Although solutions may differ from model to model, the suggestions in this article should cover most scenarios.
Why a Printer Appears Offline?
If you ever get the “Printer Offline” message while trying to print something, it could be for one of these reasons:
Printer isn’t powered on.
Printer is disconnected.
The printer you’re trying to use isn’t set as the default printer.
A previous print job is stuck in the printing queue.
Printer is set to Offline or Paused status.
There are multiple copies of the same printer.
Printer driver for your operating system isn’t working properly.
Luckily, it’s not that hard to sort most of these issues by yourself.
No Power
First thing to do when your printer seems to be offline is to check whether it’s turned on. If your printer has a LCD screen, check if it’s blank. If you don’t have a screen on your printer, check if any of the LED lights are turned on.
If the printer doesn’t seem to be turned on, press the “Power” button on your printer. If that didn’t wake it up, check the cord that connects the printer with the power outlet. Maybe the cable is loose or the outlet isn’t getting any power.
If everything seems fine and your printer is turned on, check if there are any error messages on its LCD screen. If so, check the printer manual for the error type and how to solve it.
If none of these actions helped, it’s time to move on to the next section.
Not Connected
The next step is to check if the connection between the printer and your computer is working properly.
For USB connections, check if both ends of the cable fit snuggly into either ports. Also, avoid using any USB hubs or extenders. It’s important to have a direct USB connection between your computer and the printer.
For local networks, make sure the Ethernet cable hasn’t come loose on your printer’s end. The other end usually connects to a router or a switch. If you don’t have access to that, ask your network administrator to help you with this.
For Wi-Fi connections, make sure the network is working properly. You might want to reset the Wi-Fi router, just to make sure this isn’t the issue.
Not Set as a Default Printer
Once you’re sure the printer is powered on and connected to your computer, it’s time to check the software side of the problem. First thing to do is to see whether the printer you’re trying to use is set as default for your computer.
Press the “Windows” button in the lower left corner of the screen.
Open “Control Panel”.
Go to “Hardware and Sound”.
Click “Devices and Printers”.
In the printers list, find the printer you want to use. Check if there’s a green check mark on the printer’s icon. This denotes if it’s set as default.
If not, right-click the printer icon and select “Set as default printer”.
This should change your printer’s status from offline to online. If not, check the next section.
A Print Job Got Stuck
If a document you’ve sent to your printer didn’t print, there could be a number of reasons behind it. For example, the file is too big for printer’s memory to handle. Or your computer went to sleep while sending the print job, thus corrupting the process.
Whatever the reason, it’s time to check if there are any pending jobs in your printer’s queue.
Follow the steps 1-4 from the previous section to open the list of available printers.
Next, right-click your printer’s icon.
Click “See what’s printing”.
The list of current print jobs will appear.
Now click the “Printer” tab at the top of that window.
Click “Cancel All Documents” to clear out the printing queue.
If the “Cancel All Documents” option is greyed out, click “Open As Administrator” from the same menu (as in Step 6). Enter the administrator password and click “Yes” to enable this option.
It may happen that there were no stuck jobs waiting for printing. Or perhaps clearing the queue didn’t help to bring your printer online. If so, please continue to the next section.
Printer Status Changed
It might happen that the system set your printer’s status automatically to Offline or Paused. Right-click your printer’s icon and see if “Use Printer Offline” or “Pause Printing” options have a check mark next to them. If they do, click each to uncheck them.
Multiple Printers
There’s also a chance there are multiple copies of the same printer on your computer. This can happen if you’ve connected the printer to a different USB port on your computer. Also, installing the same printer driver several times will create an additional copy each time.
If there are multiple copies of the same printer, hover over each icon with your mouse until the status pop-up appears. The printer you’re looking for should have “Status: Ready” in the pop-up. Once you’ve found it, delete the other copies.
Printer Drivers
If none of this helped, the last option is to reinstall the printer drivers. To do so, go to Brother support page and click “Downloads”. Follow the instructions to get the latest drivers for your printer. Here you can also find detailed instructions on how to install the driver itself.

Getting mentioned on Twitter is a great way to keep track of interesting things. Whenever your friends mention you in their Tweets, you can easily check out their suggestions.
Other times though, mentions could turn out to be nothing but spam. Furthermore, some Tweets could hold certain negative implications against you. True or not, it’s never great to see such things. The situation can get even worse if Tweets become malicious or abusive. That’s why people are eager to find out if they can delete such mentions.
Can You Remove Twitter Mentions?
One thing to keep in mind when using Twitter is that all Tweets are public. Those that include your mention are actually Tweets that other people created. Hence, there’s no way you can completely remove any mentions on your own.
That being said, if the sender is friendly enough, you might approach them personally. If you politely ask them to remove your mentions from certain Tweets, they might comply. Unfortunately, that’s not something many people would do, especially if they’ve picked on you for some reason.
Even though you can’t do anything about the unwanted mentions, you can at least remove them from the “Mentions” list in your Twitter app. To do so, you can either block the sender or report the Tweet.
Blocking the Sender
If you feel that a person isn’t worth your attention on Twitter, you can use the “Block” option. This will essentially remove all their Tweets from your feed, both good and bad.
Please note, after you block someone on Twitter, they’ll no longer be able to send you messages or follow your account. Also, you won’t receive any new notifications from this user in your Twitter feed anymore.
To block a user, follow the steps below:
Open your Twitter app.
Tap the “Bell” icon at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the “Mentions” tab at the top of the screen.
Locate the mention you’d like to remove from your list and tap it.
In the next screen, tap the arrow pointing down next to the sender’s name.
Tap the “Block @username” option.
A pop-up notification will appear. Confirm your action by tapping the “Block” button.
Once you do this, all their Tweets will immediately disappear from your Twitter feed.
Reporting Tweets or Users
Sometimes you may receive dozens of Tweets that mention you. These are all probably spam, so it’s ok to report them. If someone is acting abusively towards you or even getting potentially threatening, that’s definitely something you should report.
In order to report such Tweets, check the next few steps.
First, tap the “Bell” icon in your Twitter app.
Go to the “Mentions” tab and locate the Tweet you want to report.
Tap the arrow as explained in Step 5 from the previous section.
Tap “Report Tweet”.
Now select one of the reasons why you want to report this. There are four options:
I’m not interested in this Tweet
It’s suspicious or spam
It’s abusive or harmful
It expresses intentions of self-harm or suicide
Follow the instructions dedicated to each of these options to confirm your choice.
Once you confirm it, the reporting process is done.
Please note that if you select “It’s abusive or harmful”, you’ll have to go through a couple more steps:
First, you’ll have to choose one of the options to further describe how this Tweet is abusive or harmful.
Then you need to confirm if it contains private information – answer Yes or No.
After that, you’ll also have to tell Twitter whether this account is threatening you or someone else.
Finally, you need to select up to five Tweets that will serve as evidence of the malicious behavior.
Before you tap “Send report to Twitter”, you can also type in the explanation about what happened in your own words.
Keep in mind that when you report someone this way, Twitter won’t immediately ban their account. It will take a certain number of corroborative reports from other people as well. Once that happens, Twitter will need to assess the allegations before taking any disciplinary action against that particular account.
Unwanted Mentions Removed
Hopefully, these recommendations will help you to get rid of any unwanted mentions. If you want to block or report malicious users and their Tweets, think about it twice before actually doing so. Although you won’t be able to completely remove them from Twitter, at least you can make these mentions disappear from your feed.

There’s been a lot of hype about a pulse oximeter (the blood oxygen measurement) feature being available on the Apple Watch. And indeed, the tech giant has been developing the watch’s Health app, but the oximeter isn’t available yet.
According to the rumors, this function should roll out with the watchOS7 and provide exceptionally accurate readings of blood oxygen levels. Until that time, it pays to take a closer look at the evolution of Apple Watch’s health features and learn more about the oximeter itself.
A Little Bit of History
Way back when the first Apple Watch debuted, there were also rumors that it could measure blood oxygen. To be exact, tech-savvy fans speculated that the Series 1 could measure oxygen levels via the pre-installed heart rate monitor.
However, this was only speculation. Currently, none of the updates or new hardware releases offer the given feature. Speaking of hardware, it’s still not clear if new piece of gear, as in sensor, is required to support blood oxygen measurements.
Though, it’s safe to assume that more sophisticated gear or software is necessary to facilitate detection and timely alerts. Not that this would be the first time Apple upgraded the watch’s capacity to track your vitals.
For example, the release of Series 4 included an electrocardiogram to expand the capabilities of the heart rate monitor. The upshot of which raises an interesting point.
Going back to Apple Watch Series 1, a third-party teardown showed that the wearable had the hardware that can support a pulse oximeter.
On the other hand, the electrocardiogram in Series 4 and Series 5 gained some notoriety due to a bug. Namely, the feature didn’t provide conclusive measurements between 100-120 BPM.
Be that as it may, Apple appears to go the extra mile to bring superior vitals monitoring to their new release.
Apple vs. Everybody Else
In distinctly Apple fashion, the tech giant is late to release new features. But there is a twist.
Fitbit was first to include a pulse oximeter on the Charge 3 and Versa line of activity trackers. But you can only get the data in the sleep-tracking menu of the app. And the real limitation is that the app offers a general chart with metrics, not hour-by-hour data.
As it seems, Apple is doing its best to offer more accurate readings and actionable data. That said, you should know that Fitbit didn’t intend to provide users with medically relevant blood oxygen readings.
However, a lot of Apple Watch marketing revolves around the fact that the wearable offers data that can be of value to doctors. What’s more, the aforementioned electrocardiogram got medical use approval from the FDA.
Due to this, you may expect that the blood oxygen function receives similar certification and usability.
Apple Watch Blood Oxygen Measurement – What to Expect?
For starters, let’s take a small detour and explain the blood oxygen saturation.
Naturally, this vital sign fluctuates during the day and significant deviations may indicate an underlying condition. For healthy individuals, oxygen saturation is between 95-100%. This is viewed as normal.
Should the saturation drop below 95%, it might be linked with a serious cardiac or respiratory condition. But how will Apple Watch notify you about this?
Similar to heart rate alerts, you should get a notification the moment saturation levels plummet below a pre-set threshold. To allow this, Apple has obtained a few patents for technology to monitor blood oxygen.
In fact, the Series 1 prototype biometrics included a pulse oximeter function. Nevertheless, the feature didn’t end up in the final product due to consistency problems.
Fast forward to today, and Apple is likely to have figured out the quirks that thwarted accurate monitoring. But it remains to be seen how it will perform on a day-to-day basis.
More Goodies on the New Apple Watch
Aside from the pulse oximeter, Apple has been working on the much-awaited Sleep app.
Certain references to this function could be found in iOS 13 beta. Then again, it wasn’t included in the official release of the new software. The great thing is that sleep monitoring won’t require any hardware updates. But what are the features you should look forward to?
First, users will be able to wear the watch while asleep. And if you have more Apple Watches, you can designate one for sleep-use.
During sleep, the watch will keep tabs on your heart rate, ambient noises, and movement. To provide precise sleep quality measurements, the watch utilizes a host of inputs and sensors. And the data will be available in the future Sleep app and the Health app.
As most users prefer to charge their Apple Watch during sleep, the software update includes a reminder to switch watches. This isn’t ideal, but you can also recharge the watch beforehand.

Before You Start
This article assumes that you’ve already downloaded and installed TikTok. Just as importantly, make sure the app’s updated on your Android or iOS device.
Furthermore, you should update the smartphone’s software as well and have more than 50% charge on your battery. This is because the effect requires some computing power that’s usually very battery intensive. After all, you’re effectively shooting video via an internet-based app.
With this in mind, you should also have a steady Wi-Fi connection. Otherwise, the ripple might not be as smooth as you expect it.
It’s also possible to do the TikTok ripple effect on your tablet. But the process is much trickier, so it’s best to stick to smartphones.
That out of the way, it’s time to get down to business.
Ripple, Ripple, Ripple Your Videos
Whichever method you choose, the catch is to nail the correct video speed. As indicated, you’ll be shooting is slow motion at about 0.5 speed for the desired smoothness. But this speed isn’t exactly set in stone, so don’t hesitate to experiment.
Method One
Step One
Launch the TikTok app on your smartphone. For example purposes, this article uses TikTok for iOS but the steps are the same on Android devices.
Hit the plus icon to add a new video and then select the speed icon to start recording in slow motion. The speed bar pops up at the bottom of the screen and you need to tap on “0.5x”.
Step Two
Press the record button and choose the recording duration. The 60s option might work better, but you can get snappy ripples at 15s.
While recording, you should quickly move/shake your phone towards and away from the object you’re trying to record. And voila, your video with the ripple effect should be ready to post.
Important Notes
Moving your phone to and from the object slowly won’t do you any good, as you really need to do it fast. And you shouldn’t shake the phone left or right because the motion counteracts the ripples.
As you might assume, this method requires some practice before you nail ripples that look good.
Method Two
The upside of this method is that you don’t need to move your phone like there’s no tomorrow. But it requires a bit of extra work and the Video Star app.
Step One
Open TikTok, hit the plus icon, and record a video in slow motion. As said, you don’t need to move or shake at all, just shoot and save the recording in your Gallery or Camera Roll.
Step Two
Access Video Star, select the video and hit Edit for more actions. But first, you need to tap “Make Video” for the app to generate an editable recording.
Now, select “Quick Split Scene” and choose where you want the split. Then tap “New” and choose “Re-Effect”. Select the magnifying lens icon to initiate the effect search, and type wiggle into the search bar.
The slider at the bottom of the screen allows you to adjust the impact of the effect. And it’s advisable to move it a bit to the left to lessen the claustrophobic feel at the default 50%.
Step Three
Finally, you can export the video, go back to TikTok, and upload it from your Gallery or Camera Roll.
Important Notes
At the time of writing, the Video Star app is available only on Apple Store. But there is other video-editing software that features the wiggle/ripple effect on Android.
More importantly, Video Star UI isn’t exactly intuitive and it might take some getting used to before you master all the functions and options. That said, the app offers one of the most comprehensive suites of editing tools.
And with some practice, you’ll be able to create eye-catching videos that are comparable to the ones generated in Adobe Premiere for mobile devices.
Furthermore, Video Star produces a ripple effect that looks different from the manual method. For some users, it’s better because they get more control over the final result.
But the movement hack is great for some like worthy ripples on the fly.

When you’re ready to get back to work, just turn off the snooze. Here’s how.
How to Un-Snooze Slack Notifications
During working hours, you probably don’t want to miss any critical notifications from Slack. You may receive a new private message, a team member might mention you in a channel, or the admins may add you to a new channel altogether. If so, a notification should pop up on your mobile device or your computer. Unless you’re still in Do Not Disturb mode. Here’s how to turn your notifications back on.
From a Web Browser
If you turn the Do Not Disturb feature on, you won’t be notified of team members mentioning you in messages or notifications. You can set your own time when you want notifications to be snoozed, or stick with the ones your team had set before you joined. Any new members automatically receive the workspace settings that apply to the whole team.
Launch your browser and go to your workspace.
In the upper-left corner, select your team’s name.
From the pop-up menu, choose Pause notifications. If they’re snoozed, you’ll see “On” next to this option.
When you hover over Pause notifications, you’ll see a new pop-up menu. Click on Resume notifications now if you want to disable the Do Not Disturb feature immediately.
Within this menu, you’ll also find an option to change the schedule. You can set your own hours when you want the notifications to be snoozed.
From the Mobile App
If you’re using the Slack app for mobile devices, you can change the notification settings from there too. Whether you have an iOS or an Android smartphone, the steps are similar.

During my student life, I had to participate in numerous team work projects, and having disagreements with other team members was unavoidable. I would like to talk about a team project that I was involved in during the junior year at university/to share with you my experience when I disagreed with my friend.
There were two of us on the team, and our task was to invest in the simulation stock market. We had to make decisions on choosing which stocks were profitable and worth our investment. Each group's performance would be compared weekly and at the end of the semester, we would have to present our project in front of the whole class. The project was vital as it contributed 50% to our final results of that semester. Besides, being an investor is really a challenging task, especially when the Vietnam stock market is volatile and unpredictable. Two of us fought for days to decide which companies had showed the best performance and promised a bright future on the stock market. My friend wanted to invest in a real estate company while I thought that an investment in real estate at that time was an unwise choice.
Despite our arguments, we completed the task on time and had an excellent group presentation. From this experience, I learned that it is very hard to be a good team member. You would have to know how to present yourself while fitting in the group and each person has to compromise to achieve a common goal.

Let me talk about the project I did in a team in the second year of my graduate school. Our tutor gave us an assignment to review the server log of an international trade website and give a brief analytics using the data warehouse and data mining technology. We had three people in the team, and I was the team leader. I allocated different tasks to different classmates, one was responsible to extract the data from the database to the data warehouse, and the other one was to set up the data model for analyzing. I was to analyze the final data set with a data mining software and prepare the presentation.
The job was quite tough as this was our first time to do such assignment and we needed to overcome various technique problems. For example, we had to use the Microsoft database software to restore the data and write codes to manipulate the data transferring. Besides, the data mining software was also new to us; we had to get ourselves familiar with it.
Our team spent three weeks to finish the work which we reckoned it as an authentic project in corporation. Therefore we tried to learn the entire process of doing project, the demand analysis, project design and implementation, and the documents. As well as that, we learned some useful software and gained some coding experiences.

This restaurant serves some kinds of Japanese traditional food. Among them, "ramen" – a traditional noodle of Japanese is the most sought-after dish by this restaurant's customers. The other thing which makes me fall in love with this restaurant is the Japanese culture when I eat out there. Chefs and waiters are always kind and polite, but smoking or too much noise is never allowed there. That's why it's enjoyable to be there though it is located in a small area.

I was thinking that my cousin could help me since she is quite good with her hands; I think she has some friends who are good at macrame so they could help also. One of the main challenges for small businesses is just staying open. Most small businesses close within a year after they're open, so if they get past that hurdle the next most important thing that they'll have to tackle is getting long-term customers. Depending on what kind of business they’re starting they’ll also have to advertise their products and services. Good advertisement is really what makes the difference between the success and failure of their business.
2. What arc some of the advantages and disadvantages of small businesses compared to large companies?
One advantage of having a small business is that you don't have to be lied down by company rules, regulations, and protocols. You are free to operate as you please and don’t have to worn, about getting the approval of the CEO or some other person higher up on the ladder than you. There are some disadvantages, though, to having a small business. The main one is that if you’re not careful, the big businesses will put you out of business by slashing their prices or advertising heavily. You see, they can afford to make their prices lower than yours simply because they have more money.
3. How can small businesses benefit the people in their community?
Small businesses are able to cater to the whims and wishes of the people that they are near. They get to know’ their customers and can specialize in taking care of them. Small businesses can even watch out for community members: if they are used to seeing them and they notice a change in their routine, the business could report this to someone who would lie concerned about them. Having a small business, like a restaurant for instance, creates a family-like feeling in the neighborhood, as opposed to going to McDonald's for instance, where they don’t know you from Adam.
4. Compare small shops with big (international) department stores and supermarkets.
I really don't think there is any comparison. Small shops retain a personal touch and give you the feeling that the owners are more than people who just want to make money. Small businesses make you feel that you arc contributing to keep the community going by shopping there. Of course the big stores have a lot more variety and are able to have sales and cut their prices when they need to.

A small business owner would have to be diligent with his business, wanting to make sure that things are done right, lie would need to have patience, the ability to wait until the business starts succeeding. He would have to have plenty of capital to get his business off the ground. A small business owner would also have to have a sense of humor, to laugh when he feels like crying.
8. How have small businesses changed in recent years in China?
There is a lot more freedom here in China to start your own business and make it succeed. There are a lot more small businesses than in the past. Because of China's entry into the WTO. there are a lot more products and therefore more businesses. As I mentioned before, style is becoming more popular so more businesses open to keep up with it.
9. How do you think small businesses will change in the future in China?
I think that people are working together more and want to gel their small businesses going and progressing so that they can branch out and grow. You will see small businesses Hexing their muscle in the rural areas and expanding their support base. You will see small businesses affecting life much more than they do now. Small businesses are the future of China and will continue being so as time goes on.
10. Compare owning and running a small business to being an employee in a large company.
I think that I am passionate about this. 1 feel that owning and operating a small business is everything good and working as a cog in a wheel for a large company is everything bad. Maybe it's just me, but 1 like to experiment and try new things and when you have your own business you can do this. I've got to feel like I am making a difference; owning a small business would do this for me.

Mumbai: Export orders worth $4-5 billion are at stake for automakers, who have now seen production facilities shut for six straight weeks. KOLKATA: Banks and non-bank lenders are staring at around Rs 3000 crore of default by smaller microfinance firms, which are fighting to stay afloat without the access to the liquidity support provided by Reserve Bank of India and its intermediaries.In a desperate cry to the finance minister, a group of about 100 small microfinance firms with less than Rs 200 crore loan portfolio each has sought conversion of their outstanding bank loans into equities as their fund dried up.Every microfinance lender including the bigger ones is facing the stress since business stalled during lockdown while the smaller ones are always more vulnerable.They have also sought fresh loans from banks to keep operation running with them face immediate risk of non-payment of salaries, property rents and bank dues. These firms, which are at the bottom of the pyramid of the country's microfinance universe, cater to 25 lakh micro borrowers and while employ about 12400 people, according to information collated by Sa-dhan, the largest sectoral group.Sa-Dhan executive director P Satish said that some its members have already failed to honour payments to lenders. "More defaults cannot be ruled out in the absence of liquidity support. MFIs will face difficulty in recovering their loans even after lockdown due to stoppage of businesses and due to erosion of savings of end-borrowers," he said.Their loan outstanding was Rs 5,332 crore at the end of January with outstanding borrowing at Rs 3355 crore. The outstanding borrowing by all MFIs put together is in excess of Rs 50000 crore.In a joint letter to finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the group of small MFIs said that their margins are getting eroded affecting their borrowing ability."All our lenders including banks and financial institutions may be advised to convert their outstanding loans into equity with five years of lock-in and additionally to provide loans for further lending," they said in the letter dated April 27. "Alternatively, these could also be converted to long term loans of 5-7 years with reduced interest rates. Lending institutions may further be advised to de-invoke all the personal guarantees of promotors as it will be impossible for us to honour as these personal guarantees are disproportionate to the assets of promotors.""MFIs deserve a lot of support now. And that should happen quickly. Otherwise the whole model will fall beyond redemption," a senior executive with a state-run bank said.But banks are split in their decision to extend moratorium benefit to institutional borrowers like MFIs with several top ones including State Bank of India denying it, going against Reserve Bank of India's advisory. RBI, while created an enabling provision to allow moratorium to every borrower in stress, left the final decision to banks' board."The bigger issue is that if the lockdown gets extended till May-end or MFIs are not able to meet borrowers for collections and disbursements, how many MFIs will have the cash to meet their operational expenses and for how many months. If they run out of cash, then they may not be able to survive," chief executive of a microfinance firm said.RBI's liquidity support has so far been restricted to firms with higher credit ratings while most smaller MFIs are either fall below investment grade or have never sought credit ratings. Sa-Dhan said that less than 30 of their 212 members would be eligible for financing support from intermediaries such as Small Industries Development Bank of India and National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development. RBI has lined up a facility of Rs 50000 crore for Sidbi, Nabard and National Housing Bank so that they can refinance lenders.
Mumbai: At a time when several banks and most shadow lenders are conserving cash, India Infoline and public sector banks such as Punjab National Bank (PNB) are offering top-up loans to their existing customers. Caveat emptor: They must not avail of the three-month repayment moratorium.Although counter-intuitive at first glance, the offers make sound business sense. Not only will such loans offer the opportunity to expand loan books in these lean times, the pre-condition will also help prevent or delay delinquencies and non-performing assets (NPAs) on accounts that were standard before the lockdown began.In a sense, therefore, these are akin to a shadow stimulus, helping business borrowers meet their immediate working capital needs. Queries sent to PNB and Bank of Baroda remained unanswered."We are only offering these loans to the borrowers with no overdues and have average seasoning with us of 24 months with the current credit score above acceptable norms. And we have a collateral on the loans," said Monu Ratra, CEO of IIFL Home Finance. "We have sufficient liquidity with us and the customers seeking such loans are the ones who may have emergency needs." The document it shared with prospective customers said the offers will require "the borrower(s)'s consent for the waiver of the three- month moratorium."75437477The RBI has let financiers grant a moratorium to accounts in default but standard (non-payment in 30 to 90 days bucket). In such cases, the lender will have to make provision of at least 10% spread over March and June quarters, with not less than 5% in each quarter.The move, of course, has its share of critics. "Why will a borrower prefer a top-up loan and not opt for a moratorium? In both cases, he will have to pay similar interest. Although we do top-up loans in the home loans segment, we are not making any offers with the condition to opt out of moratorium," said a senior executive at a leading bank. Auditors reportedly want the lenders to provide for more than 10%, depending on the quality of asset."But NBFCs and HFCs that fall under Ind-AS may have to provide for more in line with the model chosen by them — Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 — up to the satisfaction of the statutory auditor," said Atanu Bagchi, ex-CFO of Can Fin Homes.
Mumbai: Export orders worth $4-5 billion are at stake for automakers, who have now seen production facilities shut for six straight weeks. These orders need to be fulfilled in the April-June quarter.The industry is urging the government to allow production across the entire supply chain at different hubs. Without this, the export orders can't be honoured, say automakers. They also say servicing these orders is the best way to ensure there are no more job and salary cuts in the sector.Adding to Indian automakers' apprehension is the fact that China's economy is mostly up and running, with many of its factories operating at almost 100% capacity. Auto companies are worried they may lose orders to Chinese and South East Asian manufacturers. 75440659'Opening Up Early Critical'Orders for nearly 110,000 passenger vehicles are pending, valued at Rs 10,000 crore ($1.5 billion). Auto components makers have orders worth about $2 billion. Plus, there are $500 million to $1 billion of export orders for two-wheelers, threewheelers and commercial vehicles.Multiple people tracking the auto sector spoke to ET, some spoke off record.Rakesh Sharma, executive director at Bajaj Auto, says the company is keen on ramping up production as it has Rs 1,000 crore of export orders. "With many regions yet to get a go-ahead from local administrations, first-quarter volumes are expected to see a 50% decline in the domestic market. However, it is our overseas business which puts us in a better position than others," Sharma says.BRIGHT SPOTAnalysts expect the export market to be the likely bright spot for twowheelers in 2020, assuming sufficient production. This market can even register 5-8% growth in the current year, similar to export sales in recent non-pandemic times.Opening up early is critical, automakers say, because many overseas markets will open before India and buyers may look elsewhere.Equally crucial is the jobs/salaries question. Most automakers paid full salaries for March. April has seen no production, and cash is running out for most companies. If that pattern continues, it means at least one more bout of cross-asset pain is coming.The Bloomberg United States Financial Conditions Index, a measure of stock, bond and money market stress, started this sell-off with a one-month plunge to the third week of March, before recovering about half of that in the month that followed.That's almost exactly the pattern the gauge followed during the credit crunch. Worryingly for 2020 investors trying to navigate the estimated $6 trillion pandemic-induced recession, in 2008 it went on to turn lower and declined for about one more month.75434122Of course, the circumstances surrounding this crisis are far removed from 2008. The world has not experienced a pandemic of this nature in living memory, and investors have not faced such a severe or rapid downturn in economic activity. Meanwhile the response from central banks has been faster and larger than anything seen before.Even so, the similarities between conditions then and now will be ammunition for bears. It was yet another day of precarious trade, as the Indian equity indices inched higher to end on a positive note. Nifty saw a strong start to the session but spent the first half of the session without any directional bias. However, the second part of the day went on a positive note. Nifty pulled back from the lows and ended the day with a net gain of 98.60 points, or 1.06 per cent.The analysis for Wednesday remains the same: Nifty continues to remain trapped in the Rising Wedge formation. The directional weakness of the market is likely to persist despite modest up-moves. We have the penultimate day of expiry of the current derivative series, and the session is going to be dominated by rollover-centric activities. The index also remains vulnerable at higher levels, and any profit booking should not come as a surprise.Nifty is likely to face resistance at 9,410 and 9,465 levels, while supports will come in at 9,260 and 9,185 levels. The trading range is expected to remain wider than usual in the event of any corrective moves from higher levels.The Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the daily chart stood at 52.49; it remains neutral and does not show any divergence against the price. The daily MACD is bullish, and it trades above the signal line. A Hanging Man pattern emerged on the candles. This can be a potentially bearish signal, as the candle has occurred during an up-move. It may likely halt the current rally. However, a confirmation is required on the next trading bar.75432424Pattern analysis showed Nifty continues to remain precariously trapped in the Rising Wedge formation. Unless the index moves past the 9,600-9,650 zone, the current technical structure will keep the market vulnerable to profit taking at higher levels and might have bearish implications going ahead. So from a technical perspective, it is evident that any move on the upside is making the market incrementally vulnerable to bearish implications as long as it stays in the Rising Wedge formation. Given the current technical setup, we recommend adopting a highly selective approach and protecting profits at higher levels. Any bearish move going ahead cannot be ruled out as long as the markets stay in the current area pattern. The great wilderness of SnowRunner is home to all kinds of jobs, places to discover, and challenges to take on. With this article, we aim to give you a better understanding of what you'll be doing out there in the mud and snow, besides driving badass trucks!
The three regions (Alaska, Michigan, and Taymyr) are rugged and harsh, full of beauty and untapped potential. Your role in SnowRunner is as the vanguard, the first in line, taking on contracts for businesses as they try to secure a foothold.
Activities in SnowRunner can be split into four categories: Contracts, Tasks, Challenges, and Exploration.
Contracts
Every region has businesses that require your skills and intrepid spirit. There is a set number of contracts in every region (each made up of several maps), and all the ones you can acquire on a certain map are visible from the get go on the map screen, provided you have uncovered the fog of war in that location.
Although still visible, some contracts are locked until you meet specific requirements, such as completing a different contract first. These requirements are shown in the contract. Contracts always involve delivering some form of cargo to a specific location, but keep in mind that these deliveries can sometimes take you from one map to another (but not across regions).
Tasks
Tasks are one-time objectives that you discover naturally as you explore the map. When you discover a task, you will get a notification and the task will become visible on your map. There are a variety of tasks that are different from contracted cargo delivery, such as rescuing a stuck vehicle, searching for oil, reaching a special location, and bringing supplies to repair infrastructure or buildings.
Contests
Entirely optional, contests are timed challenges where a faster completion time equals a better reward. These are accessed in the same way as tasks, through exploring the map, and involve reaching certain locations and delivering cargo. Some of them include special conditions, such as completing them at night, or in first person view, or avoiding damage to your vehicle, and so on.
Exploration
Besides being its own reward, we've made sure exploration can lead to other surprises. As you make your way through the snow, mud, hills, swamps, mountains, and forests, you will come across various types of buildings, vehicles, trailers, and even upgrades.
Watchtowers are spread across the map and will uncover a big chunk of the fog of war when you reach them, revealing things like buildings and upgrades on the map, as well as some kind of tasks. Challenge zones however, will only be discovered and displayed on the map after you have physically approached them.
The size of SnowRunner's maps is truly gigantic compared to MudRunner, even if you include all post-launch content. The same goes for the amount of stuff to do – the maps aren't just bigger, they're more detailed and crowded with activities.
The Rest is up to You
While SnowRunner features a ton of tailored tasks and challenges, it's ultimately up to you to play the game in the way you enjoy most. Create your own challenges, race your friends, load your truck with way too much cargo, or have a good old fashioned tug of war using the winch.
The activities we've described above, particularly the contracts and tasks, are intended to provide a good flow for players to make their way through the maps naturally, unlocking and discovering new vehicles, buildings, and upgrades as they go. Challenges can spice things up, but are in no way obligatory.
Your progress, both global and for each map, can be viewed on your driver profile. This shows the number of completed contracts, tasks, challenges, and more, all of which affects your driver rank and badge. You'll have to achieve a higher driver rank to unlock some trucks and addons, and it's a good indicator of your overall experience as a driver.

Minecraft Earth introduces Player Journal and updated Challenges today
Additional new features added recently include Adventure Crystals and Buildplate Link Sharing
It's been nearly six months since the first tappables were tapped and buildplates were built in Minecraft Earth with our initial early access release. We've used these six months to test, build, and collect feedback from our players to shape an experience that continues to evolve and change.
Today, we're excited to share some of the new tools and features that we've been working on:
Player Journal, released today, provides a way to collect and track different mobs and blocks collected and gain rewards for unique items. You could also say that this provides a way to earn bragging rights amongst your friends!
Today we also released an update to Challenges, giving them a makeover and introducing new challenge Seasons. Pick your path through the Season map to complete challenges and unlock rewards! You can even unlock new character creator clothing to wear in vanilla Minecraft. Challenges can now also be refreshed through randomized tappables for players to collect.
Adventure Crystals, released on March 25, give players an easy way to experience Adventures (which were previously tied to a physical location) in their home, their backyard, or wherever they are. Players collect these through tappables and can spawn them anywhere and anytime to play and gain rewards. Common Crystals are given as daily rewards, but you need to find chests inside adventures to discover crystals and adventures of higher rarity!
Buildplate Link Sharing, released on April 14, allows players to share their Minecraft Earth creations with friends simply by sending them a link they generate in-game or on social media. But worry not – links shared are a copy of the original world, so your little brother isn't actually able to destroy your masterpiece.
The Minecraft Earth team and I also want to take a moment to acknowledge the current global COVID-19 situation. We have been adapting the game accordingly over the last few weeks by increasing tappable spawn rate and density, introducing Adventure Crystals and removing location-based dependencies, and trying to find ways to help empower Minecraft Earth players to continue to build, craft, Adventure, and mine from the safety of their own homes.
Minecraft Earth is poised to continue growing as we regularly develop new tools, experiences and features. So much of this growth is due to the valuable community feedback we've received thus far, so we'd like to say "thank you" and stay tuned – there's much more to come in the months ahead.
Back in Season 6, when we debuted our new map Karakin, we also announced that Vikendi was rotating out of normal matchmaking so that we could work on a full revamp of our frosty map. As we're about to kick off Season 7, we’re thrilled to let everyone know that Vikendi has officially made its return to PlayerUnknown's Battlegroundson Xbox One!
Vikendi is back and better than ever with many new updates to the map as well as quality of life changes. Terrain and weather adjustments have been made specifically with community feedback in mind. Snow has been applied to certain areas of the map that made more sense, while most of the snow has been removed or reduced. Weather options now include Clear or Snowy.
Towns and landmarks have also been updated, most notably our newly revamped Dinoland, previously known as Dino Park! Be sure to visit this hot drop amusement park to check out the new, bright visuals and attractions that have opened. A Ferris wheel, roller coaster, merry-go-round, bumper cars, and a special museum tour inside the volcano building are now open for admission!
Perhaps the most exciting update on Vikendi is our new railway system. The outer-circle line consists of eight train stations and three trains that extend along the perimeter of Vikendi, with the inner lines consisting of four train stations of six trains that connect in the inland areas of the map. To make way for this huge new transportation update on Vikendi, we have removed the Snowmobile and Snowbike and adjusted spawn rates of vehicles, so be sure to hop on a train and catch a ride to where ever you need to go!
A new weapon is added to the arsenal of PUBG with the Mosin Nagant. For those who opt for bolt-action snipers, look for the Mosin Nagant on Vikendi and Erangel!
With the Mosin Nagant, we’re testing out the idea of shared stat weapons, so while the stats mirror those of the Kar98k, the Mosin will feature its own look and sound. Our goal here is to continue to bring long-run weapon diversity while maintaining overall gun balance. We’re excited to hear your feedback on this, so be sure to let us know your thoughts!

This Wednesday, we at Zen Studios are very excited to bring you one of the most unique tactical RPGs out there. Dread Nauticalis a little bit roguelike…a little bit survival game…a little bit Lovecraftian horror…and, well, little bit of lots of other things too. I thought it'd be fun to break down a trailer for the game moment by moment, to give you a better idea of all the "little things" going on – along with just some fun behind-the-scenes commentary.

Each has their own special abilities and personalities. (I'm a Miraje guy, myself – for Sena's feisty performance alone.)

Your cruise was so relaxing until the monsters from another dimension showed up to kill everyone. A tactical turn-based RPG with roguelike elements, Dread Nautical combines immersive gameplay with a cartoonish—yet captivatingly eerie—tone. Supernatural forces have overwhelmed a cruise liner called Hope with mysterious malevolent monstrosities. Fight them off as one of four unlikely heroes. Manage your scarce resources effectively, and convince scattered survivors to fight alongside you. You'll need them for any hope of escaping this "vacation" alive. Traverse all 20 decks of the to unlock the mysteries of the Hope. Think several steps ahead during each battle, plotting the optimal use of each character's action points. Your weapons, bandages, and other items deteriorate, and your resources are very limited. Make sure your companions rest, or panic may overtake them. Oh… And expect to die. A lot.

Audio
Users who have Dolby Atmos enabled and console display settings set to 120hz with 36 bits per pixel (12-bit) are experiencing loss of Dolby Atmos audio in some situations.
Workaround: Disable 120hz or set Video Fidelity to 30 bits per pixel (10-bit) or lower.
Game DVR
Some users have reported that their clips are not recording the full length requested. This is being reported for 4K clips and non-4K clips. We are aware and investigating.
Guide
Some users are reporting that they are not seeing Gamerpics or Profile information in the Friends tab. We are aware of the issue and investigating.
We've received reports that the Friends tab is not showing the correct status of online/offline friends.
My Games & Apps
Users have reported seeing black tiles instead of game artwork when browsing their collection.
Note: We are still investigating the issue, please report the issue again from the console if you have done so with a prior update and are still seeing this behavior.
Some titles in collection may appear with a "trial" tag incorrectly in collection.
Profile Color
Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Today, a new chapter in the Gears saga begins with the launch of Gears Tactics, a fast-paced, turn-based strategy game developed from the ground up for PC, now available with Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta), Steam and Windows 10 PC.
Gears Tactics has garnered praise from media reviews: PC Gamer and 3DJuegos lauded the title for merging the core gameplay mechanics of the genre with the action-packed intensity and signature tone of Gears of War. Similar sentiment was shared by USgamer who praised Gears Tactics for having a strong narrative focus interwoven into the campaign, while GameSpot and Game Informer further celebrated the title as distinctly Gears, as the latter opined it to be a great fit for the tactics genre.
