Indie development studio SkyReacher has sent word that its first game, One Tower, has launched into Steam Early Access. Considered a "micro-MOBA", One Tower combines elements from RTS and RPG games and allows players to customize minion waves and command heroes in a head-to-head battle for dominance.

SuperData, an industry trends research firm, has revised its holiday forecast for the VR sector noting its struggling sales and calling it the "biggest loser" for the year. Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, SuperData indicated that the notably lower-than-expected sales and the fragmentation of the title line up alongside the competing peripherals contributed to the sluggish sales.

The Dwarves - Day 1 Patch to Address Console Performance Issues

THQ Nordic has sent word that a Day 1 patch for The Dwarves will be deployed specifically targeting issues with console performance on both XBox One and PlayStation 4. Performance optimizations, graphical improvements and other general improvements will also be added alongside bug fixes. The patch will weigh in at 7.1 Gb for PS4 and 3 Gb for XB1.
