Albion Online - 'Faye' Update Brings New Biome & Music to 170k Players

Albion Online has been updated today with the Faye content patch. The 170k players will find a new Forest biome, the game's fifth, complete with new wildlife, resources, creatures and flora. Guard towers will now protect cities from invaders and the "yellow / red" zones are making a comeback for GvG game play.

- Stash - Stashgiving Event Comes Packed with Big Bonuses

Stash is kicking off its "Stashgiving" event that will run from November 23rd through November 28th. During the event, players will receive big boosts to XP, resource drops, and XP bonuses for crafting / combat / gathering. Players can also score pumpkin pie with some nice bonuses, take part in an overhauled chat system, hang out at the Rolling Stone Inn and check out the in-game Leaderboards.

Project Genom - Legal Issues Result in Temporary Steam Removal

NeuronHaze, the development studio behind Project Genom, has posted an extensive notice to let players know that the title has been removed from Steam due to legal issues between the company and one of its programmers. Once a complaint is filed against a company, it is Steam policy that, pending resolution of the conflict, the game is taken off of the portal.

World of Warcraft - Three Top Guilds Stripped of Mythic Helya Kill Honors

Three of the first five guilds to take out Helya in the World of Warcraft: Legion raid, Trial of Valor, have been stripped of the achievement for doing so and all participants have been banned from the game for eight days. The three guilds (Exorsus, From Scratch and Limit) used a known exploit to take out Helya, the raid's final boss. Method and Serenity, the other two guilds in the top 5, did not use the exploit and their achievements stand, including Method's world first Helya kill.

DC Universe Online - Episodes 1-26 Available to ALL Through Year's End

Romeros Aftermath - Service Ending on December 24th

After two years in service, Romero's Aftermath will be closing for good with servers going dark on December 24th. Citing that the "economics of the game" made did not make it feasible to continue development, and without any updates in four plus months, the decision was made to close the game for good.
