Neos Land - Devs Explain How Mounts Will Work

The Neos Land team has a new development diary that explains how mounts will work in the game. In an interesting take on a typical mount system, players will be crafting rideable creatures by obtaining its 'essence' after defeating it. From there, players bind the spirit to a saddle that then creates a spirit-form version.

The Riders of Icarus site has been updated with a forward look at the balance of November and the activities that players can expect to enjoy. There is a new feature incoming called the Familiar Farm that allows players to coral various creatures together to gain special buffs.

Kokurase: Episode One, a "visual novel meets RPG experience", has launched for free on Steam. Built using the RPG maker, the game is, according to developers, filled with quirky characters and "teenage, high school angst". Players take control of more than one character and use speech puzzles with key phrases to move conversations and character progress along.
