Hero's Song - The Game We Want To Play

When I heard John Smedley was leaving Daybreak Games, I suspected it wasn't to retire. I was looking for a new gig at the time and thought I would reach out to see what he had in the fire. We went back and forth over text messages for a few days before actually talking, but the idea John described to me then, a little over one year ago, was super exciting and set my mind racing at the possibilities.

This past weekend marked the first Russian-language beta for Bless Online and hot on its heels a new English-language trailer has appeared that will surely impress. With this trailer, the possibility of the NA/EU beta nears, perhaps as early as 2017? We don't know, but we sure like the trailer. See if you agree!

One of the most enduring mysteries over the last couple of months is the next Overwatch character. Blizzard has been teasing out information about Sombra by hiding messages in coded text found on teaser sites, in images and within the game.

Diablo 3 - Designing Greater Rifts Explored

The Diablo 3 site has been updated with a new developer blog that details how Greater Rifts are designed within the game. Greater Rifts are created to provide players with the maximum amount of challenge found in changing circumstances, difficult monsters and providing opportunities to overcome. In addition, balance and diverse styles of gameplay are factored in.
