Nioh PS4 Beta Demo Available from August 23 to September 6 Posted: The Nioh beta demo will be available from August 23rd to September 6th, according to a press announcement from Koei Tecmo Games. The demo will be exclusive for PlayStation 4 and will feature a number of changes based on player feedback from the demo held in April. Players will find new challenges, weapons and more starting money on the way through. |

Custom Strongholds Coming By Way of a Modular System Posted: The Crowfall site has been updated with the big news that strongholds will be able to be player-designed via a modular system. Strongholds were originally planned to be pre-built with customization coming via the placement of buildings but with the modular system, players will be able to construct their keeps to suit their defensive, offensive and aesthetic tastes. |
'Where the NMS We Were Sold On' Reddit Thread Takes Off Posted: A new Reddit thread has cropped up on the No Man's Sky Reddit channel that asks "Where is the NMS we were sold on?" The thread is a collective of all the things that players feel were promised but never made it into the game and about "how the game is being advertised". It is a lengthy, but very active post. |
Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster Strongly Hinted by EA Veep Posted: With Mass Effect Andromeda a no-show at this year's Gamescom, Game Informer cornered EA's Executive Vice President Patrick Soderlund to ask about the possibility of remastered games in general and about a remastered version of the Mass Effect Trilogy. While not confirming it absolutely, Soderlund strongly hinted that this is something that EA and Bioware are considering which is definitely great news for fans. |

Gameplay Footage Shines in New Gamescom Trailer Posted: Square Enix has released a new gameplay trailer for Final Fantasy XV straight out of Gamescom. There are some spoiler-y things in the first three minutes, so if you're a fan of story, you can skip ahead and get into the action after that. The video lasts about an hour and is packed with fighting, chocobos, driving and other fun stuff. It's a good healthy chunk of action for your viewing pleasure that may help take the sting out of the release delay. |

Starfall Prophecy Expansion Ready for Pre-Order Posted: Rift players can now pre-order the Starfall Prophecy expansion by choosing between the Digital Deluxe Edition for $59.99 and the Digital Standard Edition for $39.99. Each comes with a level 65 boost, a special in-game title, Daily Starfall Prophecy Tokens that can be traded for special items, and access to legendary abilities, five new zones, two dungeons and more. The Digital Deluxe Edition also includes a mount, a portrait frame and Asha Catari's Raiment. |

Turning Point Part 1 Expansion Released Posted: Flyff has expanded yet again with the release of the Turning Point Part 1 update according to a press announcement from Webzen. Both European and North American servers have been patched with the expanded content that includes a level cap increase to 155, a new dungeon called Rhisis' Trail for high level players, an overhauled card upgrade system that also brings new cards into the game. Lastly players can take part in the game in English, French or German. |
