World of Warcraft: Warcraft Movie Loses Big Bucks Despite Chinese Revenue

According to a report at The Hollywood Reporter, the Warcraft movie will ultimately lose big money despite a strong showing in China. The US market for Warcraft is largely considered to have been a failure, generating only $46.6M as compared to China's $220.8M. Overall the film will likely lost about $15M with losses shared by Legendary Pictures, Universal and a trio of Chinese investors.

The free Aion update called Lost Memories has been deployed on European servers. Lost Memories introduces a level 75 cap and the ability for players to ascend to a High Daeva. Two new areas and four brand new instances have also been added. The first players to achieve server-first accomplishments such as reaching level 70 or 75 will be rewarded with a special title, one-of-a-kind items and a mount.

DOTA 2: Forum Hackers Swipe Over 2M User Accounts

According to LeakedSource.com, over two million DOTA 2 user accounts were stolen from the game's forum. The forum was compromised due to outdated vBulletin software with an SQL injection vulnerability. Hackers were able to gain access to user names, email and IP addresses. Passwords were also unscrambled, again through a vulnerability in the MD5 algorithm "alongside the salt". It is believed that about 80% of the passwords have been unscrambled.
