LawBreakers: First Beta Event Takes Place This Weekend

Cliff Bleszinski's Boss Key Productions is hosting the first LawBreakers alpha weekend for its first title. The event will take place today and tomorrow for approximately 12 hours each day. This is the first in the series of alpha events that will take place throughout the summer that will eventually lead to the Early Access phase on Steam later in 2016.

WildStar: Making the Game More Alt-Friendly

The Twitch blog has been updated with a significant post that reveals a new legal action filed by the company against seven of the most active viewbot services sellers. This is the third layer of protection the company is putting in place to stop broadcasters from overinflating view statistics, follower counts and chat activity on Twitch.

PlanetSide: Daybreak Pulling the Plug

Daybreak Games Company has announced that it is pulling the plug on PlanetSide. The server will be shutting down on July 1st at 4:00 pm Pacific / 7:00 pm Eastern. According to the team the closure is "due to evolving business needs and technical requirements". All present and former players are invited to give the game the send off it deserves in the coming weeks.
