Elder Scrolls Online: How to Make ESO's Progression Even Better Posted: 08 Mar 2016 09:51 AM PST Leveling up through an MMORPG is probably one of the best experiences. It's all about improving your character, learning new skills, trying different styles to see which one you like best or which is the most effective. Yet once you hit level cap that journey is finished, you're no longer advancing your character with the exception of gear. ESO was supposed to change this mentality with the ability to morph skills as you got better. |

General: Finding the Balance Between PVE and PVP Posted: 08 Mar 2016 07:57 AM PST MMOs have shifted and changed over the past decade. We have seen the rise of theme parks like World of Warcraft and Star Wars: The Old Republic, only to circle back to sandbox games like ARK and DayZ do crazy numbers on Steam. So the question becomes what is the perfect balance of an MMO. Right now in an age where no game is trying to be an MMO, there certainly seems to be a lot of them around. |
Heroes of the Storm: Overwatch's Tracer Headed into the Nexus in April Posted: 07 Mar 2016 05:27 PM PST Fans of Overwatch who dabble in Heroes of the Storm (or vice versa) will be pleased to hear that Tracer will be heading into the game in April according to Blizzard Watch. HotS Tracer was part of the pre-order perks for those who preordered Overwatch but it seems that she will be coming to the game as a character that can either be purchased with real world money or in-game gold. |

Flamefrost Legacy: A Different Kind of Browser MMO Posted: 07 Mar 2016 12:54 PM PST In this day and age, it's hard to be successful when it comes to turn-based combat games. The buzzword driving MMO and RPG development is action, action, action. Saying fi to that, Northern Tales: Flamefrost Legacy is a turn-based browser MMORPG put out by Epic Dragon. The game's main view is an aerial view map where you move your icon (representing your character) around the grid like surface. |
