Albion Online: Landfall Novel Published

The first novel based on the Albion Online game world has officially been released. The title comes in both paperback and e-book form and can be purchased via the Albion store or on Amazon.com.

It appears that dead isn't always dead with the revival of Hellgate on mobile devices. Now known as Hellgate: London FPS, the game quietly released on Google Play last week with no fanfare whatsoever. Hanbitsoft, most recent owner of the PC online version, closed the game not long ago only to bring it back for portable demon slaying.

ArcheAge: Mistsong Summit & Arena Offer Extra Rewards

Black Desert Online: Contests & Activities Herald March 3rd Release

With the closed beta behind it, Daum has announced a trio of ways for players to blast off into launch of Black Desert Online. Contest include uploading a BDO music video using the game score; taking a selfie of a character on any type of mount; and a screenshot with guild mates. Steam has a new, free app that will help virtual reality fans determine if their PC is up to par. Called the SteamVR Performance Test, fans can download and run the 2-minute test to check out rendering power. Results will determine whether or not your machine can run VR at 90-fps and if "visual fidelity" can be raised to the recommended level. If not, the app will reveal what is holding your system back from compatibility.

Elder Scrolls Online: DLC Loyalty Reward Pets Incoming

The Elder Scrolls Online site has been updated with a news post to let players know that a new loyalty reward is incoming. With each new DLC, and grandfathered in for Orsinium and Thieves Guild, a reward of some sort will be earned either by purchasing the DLC from the Crown Store or by being an ESO Plus member and then entering the new area. The pet will automatically be sent.

Hex: Entering the World of Entrath - Part 2

Hex: Shards of Fate has recently left its beta status behind and launched a major feature update. Garnering a lot of press in the meantime has led to a lot of new players coming over from Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering to see what this "new" kid on the block has to offer. In Part 1, I went over what a Magic: The Gathering player can expect coming over to Hex. In this part, I'll be discussing what a Hearthstone player will encounter, and boy, is it ever going to be different.
