Hex: Entering the World of Entrath Posted: 14 Feb 2016 04:20 PM PST Hex: Shards of Fate has recently left its beta status behind and launched a major feature update. Garnering a lot of press in the meantime has led to a lot of new players coming over from Hearthstone and Magic: the Gathering to see what this "new" kid on the block has to offer. I say "new" in quotes because Hex is over two and a half years old since the Kickstarter, but slow going, and a lawsuit from Wizards of the Coast have slowed things down. |

Crowfall: A Child Born of Two Mothers Posted: 14 Feb 2016 04:13 PM PST I am extremely excited to be covering Crowfall but before we get too far into it I feel that it's important for readers to understand where I'm coming from. Ahem, I'm a sandbox PVP MMORPGer from the old days when choices mattered and messing up meant a re-roll-progress be damned-and I'm not afraid to let my columns reflect that! For better or worse when I cover news about Crowfall I'll try to capture my reactions BEFORE they get put through a filter. |
General: Knights of the Old Republic Reboot to Use Unreal 4 Engine Posted: 16 Feb 2016 07:55 AM PST Poem Studios with the help of legions of Knights of the Old Republic fans is giving the game a new look, new missions, new places to explore by 'rebooting' the game using the Unreal 4 Engine. The indie team can legally do so since the finished product will be given away for free. That's right: FREE. |
