Guild Wars 2: A 2016 Wish List

Last month's Wintersday Wish List was my attempt at singling out a few of the easier-to-address issues with Guild Wars 2. Today, I'm rolling up my sleeves and getting a little more muck on my arms, looking forward to 2016 and the kinds of tasks that might take a wee bit longer, if not a good portion of the year. We'll know more about ArenaNet's plans on Tuesday, but in advance of that, here are a few things I'd like to see on the long-term checklist.

ArcheAge: A Peek Into the PvP Future with KR PvP & Housing Update

The Korean version of ArcheAge will be updating soon with a lot of attention paid to the PvP system and strengthening nation wars. Players will be able to upgrade structures within contested zones and have flying protectors circling towns within each nation. A new plant-themed dungeon will be included too. Lastly, general player housing has received a bit of love with new designs and locations for building.

General: Maplestory 2 Adds Musical Instruments & Free Sheet Music

The lucky folks at Steparu.com have had a chance to play the MapleStory 2 beta and discovered a new addition in the form of musical instruments and free sheet music. You can check out the video below to see how it all works.

SMITE: World Championship Finals Wrap Report

Well, this is what it all boils down to, the best team from North America, Enemy; and the best team from the European Union, Epsilon. I have to be honest, I think the best team in North America is Cloud 9, and I think the REAL final was yesterday, when Epsilon squeaked out a three games to two victory over Cloud 9, but the games have to be played, so let's see how it turned out.

General: Affected Zone Tactics To Launch In EU

IDC/Games has announced a publishing agreement with developer Light Vision Interactive to bring Affected Zone Tactics to the EU via direct download or Steam. AZT has been a big success in Russia.
