Lord of the Rings Online: Blessing of the Valar to Allow Instant 95 Posted: 02 Dec 2015 06:24 AM PST Lord of the Rings Online will be bringing in a new buff called Blessing of Valar that will allow players instantly level their characters to 95. It appears that this will be a store item, according to the preliminary patch notes. In addition, new housing decorations are featured in the store and many significant (and not-so significant!) bugs will be addressed as well. |

Wizard101: Putting the Unity in Community Posted: 01 Dec 2015 03:39 PM PST Over the Thanksgiving weekend, I posed a simple question to the Wizard101 community. I asked, "Hey wizards, what are you thankful for?" The question gathered mixed results, but I did notice one constant. Almost all of the responses had "community" somewhere within them. Community is an important aspect in any online game, especially MMOs ... but what exactly makes the Wizard101 community so special? Why do so many players feel so connected to it? |

General: Tide - An RPG Where the Community is the Hero Posted: 01 Dec 2015 03:34 PM PST We have received word from French development studio, NOG, that it is currently developing a new "RPG-MMO" experience that places the community at the forefront of the heroics. According to the team, Tide is for those who enjoy creativity, imagination and role play all wrapped up in a sandbox environment. |
General: Paul Nadin: My Letter to MMO Santa Posted: 01 Dec 2015 03:13 PM PST Every year we get a little bit older, and the weight of responsibility of being a grown-up makes it harder to really get into the spirit of the season. That's why this year I have decided to take a break from being an adult and make a list of unreasonable demands after having done nothing to deserve them.If these demands are not met, I will make a fuss and sulk all day. |
WildStar: Designing Your Own Corner of the Heavens in New Event Posted: 01 Dec 2015 01:08 PM PST The WildStar team has posted a note about a new event that will take place from December 9th through December 18th. During this time, players taking part in level-appropriate shiphand missions will be able to grab hold of Eko Particles that can be exchanged for Eko Chits that can then be used to buy some ship components. Players can put these amazing ship creations on their home plots, sadly not flyable, and show them off to the world via any of the WildStar social media sites. |

EVE Online: Chronicles of a New Eden - Bringing Down the House Posted: 30 Nov 2015 11:27 AM PST Grath Telkin has a bit of a reputation. In the null-sec space of EVE Online, he is easily one of the most recognizable names, known for yelling at people and leading some of the most cutthroat players in the game. Pandemic Legion is a wrecking ball swinging from one fragile null-sec empire to the next, and their reputation for crushing their foes is, at this point, pretty well solidified. |
Black Desert: PvP with Purpose - Valencia to Utilize Karma System Posted: 01 Dec 2015 08:09 AM PST The Korean version of Black Desert Online will be updating later this month with a host of new content. Most notably, however, is a new PvP system being put into place in Valencia. Under the new system, karma penalties have been reduced, no new penalties have been added, but players will lose experience on death. |
