First PvP League Season Kicks Off Today

ArenaNet has announced that the inaugural PvP League Season is beginning today that comes along with the latest update. Players can take part in any number of ways, including the Guild Challenger League: To participate here, players form groups of five and join the League. Match statistics are tracked and rated with matchmaking pitting similar ranked teams against one another.

Square Enix graciously offered us a chance to play Just Cause 3 ahead of its launch via Steam, citing that it's very much an open world RPG set in a modern setting. Now, we won't go so far to call it an RPG in a traditional sense, but there's so much fun to be had in this game that we can forgive its linear story and lunatic physics. It's a toy box of wonders for any kid who imagined blowing stuff up with his or her GI Joes for hours on end.

A new and quite different RPG is currently being developed by a therapist named Kyle Ballentine. The game is designed to give players pause to think of their character's, and perhaps their own, inevitable decline and their mortality. Rather than level up, players level down as they move through the game. As skills are lost, players rethink battles and strategies.

Beware the Blow to the Head -- Blurred Vision Can Ensue

According to a new post at Polygon, and on several other sites, there is a new bug flying around in Fallout 4 that causes players to come down with blurred vision after a critical hit to the head. Others report that vision becomes black-and-white. Regardless of the affliction, vision is only returned to normal using a stimpak.
