Funcom Fined for 2011-2012 Financial Irregularities

Reuters is reporting that Funcom has accepted a fine levied against the company by the Norwegian Authority for Investigation & Prosecution of Economic & Environmental Crime. The fine came due to financial reporting irregularities surrounding the launch of The Secret World and in the months between October 2011 through August 2012. The fine equals nearly $178,900 USD.

Blizzard has announced that Battle.net voice chat will be available for testing during the Overwatch beta. The Battle.net voice chat will only be enabled for Overwatch (for now) and according to the FAQ, the studio has yet to determine which games will support the feature in the future.

He Who Controls the Space...

At its core, AD2460 is a fulfillment of a fantasy that I have had ever since I saw Star Wars; the ability to build a powerful galactic empire capable of wiping your foes from existence. And while I've waited years for an MMORPG to be able to provide that experience in a way that remains more accessible than most other attempts, I'm not sure I'm exactly sold on the method that AD2460 uses to go about fulfilling this fantasy.

Team Destruction Mode Deployed

Wargaming today announced Update 2.3 is now available for World of Tanks on Xbox One and Xbox 360 worldwide. The newest content update on console adds a full slate of new content including game mode Team Destruction, PvE specific ops, three enhanced maps, six light tanks and the Premium SU-76i.
