Blade & Soul: Closed Beta Events Dated, First Event Coming in October Posted: 07 Sep 2015 05:17 PM PDT NCSoft has announced that the Blade & Soul closed beta is getting ready to rock the fan community when the first event kicks off on October 30th. A minimum of five weekend beta events will be held over the course of at least twenty days. Even better for excited fans is the news that Blade & Soul will be launching in Q1 2016. |
Elder Scrolls Online: Imperial City was Worth the Wait Posted: 09 Sep 2015 05:36 AM PDT Imperial City has launched recently and it's magnificent. I think this has been one of the best launches of a major content update to a MMO that I've ever seen. Not only has the launch gone off with very little issues. They even somehow managed to fix a major issue that has plagued the game since its official release, the lag in Cyrodiil. Yes, you read that right, the lag in Cyrodiil is almost non-existent, emphasis on almost. |

General: What Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Can Teach MMOs Posted: 06 Sep 2015 06:13 PM PDT I've been working my through the final Kojima-made Metal Gear Solid over the last week. MGSV: The Phantom Pain is easily on my list of this year's best games. Not only does it have what's probably one of the greatest and weirdest first hours in gaming, but it quickly opens up into an excellent mix of mission-based storytelling and pure open world awesome. |
