Elder Scrolls Online: Enough With the Veteran Rank Ping Pong Posted: 06 Jul 2015 05:10 PM PDT Players of The Elder Scrolls Online who have been around for a while know that the game underwent many large changes over the past year. I have praised Zenimax for the dedication to making improvements and listening to the community on certain points during that time. Yet, now that we're getting our first hints at future content to come, with promises that mid-July will begin reveals about The Imperial City and more, Veteran Ranks are beginning to feel like a bit of a drag on the system. |
General: All the Video Game Must-Sees at San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Posted: 07 Jul 2015 11:41 AM PDT The San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) celebrates our favorite genres of the entertainment industry, including comic, film, literary, art, cosplay, and of course, video games! Albeit video games don't have a huge presence, there are still some really cool gaming specific panels I'll be covering and speaking on this year. |

General: E3 2015 - Hands On and Preview of Bedlam Posted: 07 Jul 2015 06:52 AM PDT Once in a good long while, a game shows up with such a crazy amalgam of genres that your interest might be piqued before hearing anything else about it. Bedlam, a new Roguelike tactical-strategy RPG from Skyshine Games, is one of those such titles. It's a post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk game with influences from Mad Max, Fallout, Domination Alley, and basically all of the 1980s. Thematically, it looks a lot like Gamma World, and its gameplay is comprised of a mix between Oregon Trail and chess. |

From Friday, July 10th to Monday, July 13th, players can log in and play a Revenant in any part of the available game world including WvW, PvP, and PvE. |

General: Could The Chronicles of the Spellborn Return? Posted: 06 Jul 2015 04:03 PM PDT I was a huge fan of The Chronicles of Spellborn, an ill-fated (and ahead-of-its-time) MMORPG that semi-tragically disappeared a few years ago. I enjoyed its unique setting, art style and combat mechanics, but I also knew that it was never to be smooth sailing for the game. After all, it featured not only a grind and a challenge but could be hard to run on anything less than gaming machines (at the time) and characters had to hoof it from place to place. |
