| General: How to Make Military Shooter MMOs Better Posted: 01 Jul 2015 03:23 PM PDT I often wish I could enjoy realistic military shooters like World of Tanks. I have tried them before, and the closest I came to joy was when I was piloting an old aircraft over a massive battlefield... then I was shot down. Because these games are skill-based shooters, it's often the case that when you die you just stay dead; there's no room for error. The last time I played World of Tanks I grew so impatient I just logged out. I probably appeared to be the world's most sore loser.     |

| Camelot Unchained: Alpha Servers Open for Three Days Posted: 03 Jul 2015 11:19 AM PDT The Camelot Unchained team has sent word that the alpha servers will be open from today, Friday, July 3rd and will be open for 72 hours. Alpha testers and IT folks are invited to join the test of what is expected to be the final build candidate. If all goes well, Beta Backers will begin to be invited to join special events in the future.   |
| Wizard101: Tearing Into Terror’s Hoard Card Packs Posted: 03 Jul 2015 11:05 AM PDT The latest Hoard Card Pack from Wizard101 is named the Terror's Hoard Pack, and I tore into them this week. I'm not usually a big customer of the Hoard packs; due to the vile hate the RNG gods apparently feel for me, I don't usually spend crowns on them. At first I refused to buy them until they changed the name to the Alliance Card Packs. Then I realized it was "Hoard" as in "stash," not the orcs of Azeroth, so I gave up that idea.   |

| Warhammer 40.000: Eternal Crusade: Early Access Coming This Summer! Posted: 02 Jul 2015 04:00 PM PDT Let's do a quick rundown of what we learned at E3: Early Access is coming, and sooner rather than later, the game engine has been determined and revealed, and while no dates have been established yet, Eternal Crusade will be coming to Xbone and PS4. There are also new screenies and a new trailer coming, but those things are less exciting than the big three, which we will now look at a little closer.   |
