ARK: Survival Evolved: First Impressions of ARK Early Access Posted: 03 Jun 2015 07:20 PM PDT Let me put this out there: loads of wild dinosaurs, riding them, pooping, eating it, farming with it, PVE and PVP servers, loads of crafting and progression. 70-100 players per server for now, with hundreds promised down the road to launch in 2016. Does this sound like a game you might want to try? If so, read on because ARK: Survival Evolved is quickly becoming my sleeper of 2015. |
Heroes & Generals: Vasilevsky Update Deployed Posted: 05 Jun 2015 06:53 AM PDT Reto-Moto has announced that the Vasilevsky update to Heroes & Generals has been applied across all servers. The patch brings several new features into the game, most notably improved melee mechanics, tweaks to weapons, improved visuals and a new morale system for Assault Teams among other improvements and bug fixes. |
Skyforge: The Kinetic Class Revealed Posted: 05 Jun 2015 06:09 AM PDT My.com and Obsidian Entertainment have revealed the latest playable class for Skyforge. This time, the Kinetic takes center stage. Kinetics are ranged damage dealers with a high mobility rate. They can deal high amounts of damage or control the battlefield with powerful AoE attacks or controlling effects. |
ARK: Survival Evolved: There's Much More to Discover Posted: 05 Jun 2015 06:01 AM PDT In a recent interview with the Unreal team, ARK: Survival Evolved co-creative director Jesse Rapczak revealed that the game was developed with a push for June 2015 to coincide with the soon-to-be-released Jurassic World film and that players have a lot more to discover about the world. According to Rapczak, there are entire locations that players have yet to gain access to at the present time. |

Champions Online: Tutorial to Be Overhauled Posted: 04 Jun 2015 12:25 PM PDT The Champions Online site has been updated with a brief note to let players know that the game's tutorial is being revamped to "provide better immersion, faster flow, reduced friction points, and clearer explanation of game mechanics." According to the blog post, the reimagined tutorial is currently on the PTS for Gold Members to experience and to give feedback to the development team. |
General: Satellite Reign: Insert Weather Pun Here Posted: 02 Jun 2015 06:13 PM PDT As promised last week I'm back today with hands on impressions of Satellite Reign. The first thing I can tell you from the initial few hours that I spent in this cyberpunk city is the developers could have called this one Satellite Rain, because it did a lot of that. But all weather puns aside the game has promise if not mass appeal and fans of strategy games will want to pay attention to this one. |
