Elder Scrolls Online: What Console Players Should Know (And Why PC Players Should Be Happy) Posted: 09 Jun 2015 03:58 PM PDT Now that The Elder Scrolls Online has launched for console, the virtual holding pattern that the game has been in for the past few months should hopefully be ending soon. These months did bring us some idea of the general direction of what to expect for the console versions, but for many of us PC players, things have been in a general lull since update 6 was released, with talk having shifted to the console audience. |

Albion Online: Hellgates, Dungeons and a PvP Twist Revealed Posted: 10 Jun 2015 05:59 AM PDT The latest Albion Online video developer diary has been published to give players new information about Hellgates. Players in the game work together to bring down gatekeepers which, on death, can spawn a hellgate that leads to a special 5-player dungeon. The twist? A second hellgate that leads to the same dungeon may spawn elsewhere in the world with a second group of players in the same dungeon leading to PvE / PvP mayhem. |

H1Z1: Large Features Incoming Along with Smarter Zombies Posted: 09 Jun 2015 01:17 PM PDT Daybreak's John Smedley took to the H1Z1 Reddit to give players insight into what the team has been working on and will be working towards in the future. Among other things, Smed promised a large number of new features, continued attention on bug fixes, smarter, better zombie AI, ongoing building of a 'massive world' (up to 16,000 square km) and more. Smedley also revealed that the development team is growing to keep up with these, what he intimates, very realistic goals. |

General: 3 Steps to MMO Happiness Posted: 08 Jun 2015 04:30 PM PDT I think I have always been a happy MMO fan. I have even been accused of being sappy or of wearing rose-colored glasses when covering MMOs because I tend to, well, enjoy them. I will give it to those who make such a suggestion: playing an MMO primarily through its systems (meaning grinding) is one way to find happiness, but I didn't think that my distaste for the grind should disqualify my particular joy. |
