General: My 2015 Year To Date MMOG Power Rankings Posted: 04 May 2015 04:42 PM PDT Does anyone actually know how many MMOGs are out there now? I certainly don't. Indeed, the category has grown so much that I can no longer even estimate the total number with any real confidence. Many are, of course, not very prominent. Others are a lot more visible and fare far better in terms of attracting and holding our attention. This is my completely personal, subjective ranking of the titles that have had the most interest value for me so far this year. |

General: 5 Movie Universes that Would Make Great MMOs Posted: 04 May 2015 09:15 AM PDT When was the last time you watched a movie and though, "Wow, this would make a great MMO! There are different groups and conflicts, that could be one class, and this would make a cool class too. It's perfect!" If you play MMOs regularly, then you probably have something like that go through your mind during most of your favorite films. |

OnePiece Online: Lets Just Say Its Not Good Posted: 04 May 2015 09:04 AM PDT The One Piece Online MMORPG is a perfect representation of the experience of watching an episode of One Piece. There are things on the screen, they make sounds and are animated. The sounds are loud, the jokes are meant for 6-year-olds and the characters would seem imaginative if they looked as though they all belonged to the same universe. One Piece Online and the series it is based on is like much of the anime I have experienced, meaning boring. |
