Camelot Unchained: Special Alpha Stream Event This Saturday Posted: 25 Mar 2015 04:40 PM PDT The City-State Entertainment team has sent word that it will be co-hosting a special live stream event this Saturday, March 28th at 1:00 pm Eastern / 10:00 am Pacific. Co-hosting with the development team will be CohhCarnage whose Twitch.tv channel will be used for the special event. Cohh is a former Dark Age of Camelot player and fan. |
Sword Coast Legends: Dungeon Crawl & DM Mode to Star in Tomorrow's Stream Posted: 25 Mar 2015 04:11 PM PDT Several of the Sword Coast Legends developers will be on hand tomorrow, Thursday, March 26th for the second game play live stream event. Hosted by Game Director Dan Tudge, the Twitch event will reveal the first information about both the Dungeon Crawl and Dungeon Master systems that will ship with the game. |
Shards Online: Devs Ask Testers to Break Our Shard! Posted: 25 Mar 2015 04:06 PM PDT |
Posted: 25 Mar 2015 03:35 PM PDT The Gloria Victus team has let us know that the non-disclosure agreement for the game has officially lifted. Testers and streamers can now post their thoughts about the game that the developers say is stable enough to warrant firsthand accounts being published. The hope is that by lifting the NDA, the game will attract more players and that the development team can expand. |
General: The Daily Quest: Is Spielberg Right for "Ready Player One"? Posted: 25 Mar 2015 02:04 PM PDT Now that Steven Spielberg has been announced as the director for "Ready Player One", is he the right man for the job?? Personally, I am going to go with a big resounding YES. I know a lot of people talk about how he hasn't had very many great movies these days. If you think about the era of video games and pop culture that the book is about, Steven Spielberg is one of only a few people at the forefront of entertainment during that era. |

Dragon Age: Inquisition: A Sneak Peek at the Jaws of Hakkon DLC Posted: 23 Mar 2015 07:37 PM PDT Four months after its original release and on very short notice, Bioware is providing us today the first DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition. In fact, the lack of any announcement beforehand is almost as surprising as the rather steep price of 15 Dollars, which makes it the most expensive story DLC in the Dragon Age franchise. |
Archlord 2: A Tale of Two Grinds Posted: 24 Mar 2015 12:59 PM PDT This new iteration - Archlord 2 -- is set in the same setting as the previous version but in an alternate universe, sort of. I wouldn't worry so much about it because all of the lore and imagery of the game is really just a wrap around a series of button-pushing mechanics that only become half-fun once the player has spent hours and hours grinding bad, level-based quest after another (trust me, you won't even look at what the quests say, they are that repetitive.) |
General: Orcs Must Die! Unchained Enters Beta Phase 2 Posted: 25 Mar 2015 10:51 AM PDT |
Skyforge: Closed Beta #2 Begins Posted: 25 Mar 2015 10:03 AM PDT The second beta event for Skyforge has begun as of today, Wednesday, March 25th. There was no server wipe thus allowing players in the first event to continue their character's progress. In addition, four new classes have been announced as becoming available during this beta cycle, though it was confirmed that several players unlocked them in the first event. |
SMITE: All Gods Free This Weekend to Celebrate 1st Anniversary Posted: 25 Mar 2015 09:58 AM PDT Those who have been curious about Hi-Rez Studios' SMITE will want to check in this weekend when all gods are free in celebration of the game's first anniversary. The free weekend will run both Saturday and Sunday. In addition, there's a massive sale on skins, gems and the Ultimate God Pack that includes all current and future additions to the pantheon. |
The Secret World: Enhanced New Player Experience First Impressions Posted: 24 Mar 2015 12:53 PM PDT When a new MMO launches, sometimes it seems like the "new player experience" wasn't very high on the priority list for some developers. Which, in the grand scheme of things, makes sense to a certain degree. While every player starts at the bottom and has to go through the new player experience at least once, the reality is that the vast majority of gameplay takes place once a character has reached max-level, otherwise known as the "end game." |
