Update that Includes First Person Camera Delayed

The next Guild Wars 2 update slated for deployment today, March 10th, has been delayed. Players will have to wait a bit longer for the first person camera that is in QA for an indeterminate amount of time to assess its readiness for live servers. At this point, ArenaNet does not have a specific date when the update will be released but has promised to keep the community informed.

Age of Wulin: Chapter 4: Betrayal & Forgiveness Goes Live

Webzen has announced that Age of Wulin, the EU version of Age of Wushu, has been updated with the latest content addition called "Chapter 4: Betrayal and Forgiveness". Chapter 4 brings six new player factions into the game and gives players an opportunity to explore new ways to play the game based on factional choices.

Funcom's Joel Bylos has penned what may be one of his last Game Director's Letters for The Secret World. In it, he mentions that he will be moving on to a "new initiative" within Funcom. Bylos does not offer any further details but does mention that it will require his full focus and, as a result, he will be (and has been) handing off many of his TSW duties to others on the team.

Wave of Darkness: A Hardcore ARPG for Fans of the Genre

Small independent studios, Aurofinity and Dreamtrix, are about midway through a very modest KickStarter campaign for their hardcore action RPG Wave of Darkness. These are the same studios responsible for Legends of Dawn, the first in a planned trilogy of games. Wave of Darkness is, at the moment, a PC-only title and features and open, explorable world, spell generator, crafting, mini-games, and the promise of modding tools to be released at a later date.
