Guild Wars 2: Update that Includes First Person Camera Delayed Posted: 10 Mar 2015 07:33 AM PDT The next Guild Wars 2 update slated for deployment today, March 10th, has been delayed. Players will have to wait a bit longer for the first person camera that is in QA for an indeterminate amount of time to assess its readiness for live servers. At this point, ArenaNet does not have a specific date when the update will be released but has promised to keep the community informed. |
General: Age of Wulin: Chapter 4: Betrayal & Forgiveness Goes Live Posted: 10 Mar 2015 06:31 AM PDT Webzen has announced that Age of Wulin, the EU version of Age of Wushu, has been updated with the latest content addition called "Chapter 4: Betrayal and Forgiveness". Chapter 4 brings six new player factions into the game and gives players an opportunity to explore new ways to play the game based on factional choices. |

Age of Conan: Unchained: Latest Newsletter Teases Panoramas & Next Update Posted: 08 Mar 2015 05:35 PM PDT The latest Game Director's Letter has been posted on the Age of Conan site. In it, Joel Bylos lets players know what's been going on in the past month and what players can expect down the pipeline in the coming thirty days. Among other things, Bylos reveals that nearly one-hundred forty new panoramas will be heading into the game with the next update. |

The Secret World: Upcoming Content & Bylos Moving to "New Initiative" Posted: 09 Mar 2015 12:14 PM PDT Funcom's Joel Bylos has penned what may be one of his last Game Director's Letters for The Secret World. In it, he mentions that he will be moving on to a "new initiative" within Funcom. Bylos does not offer any further details but does mention that it will require his full focus and, as a result, he will be (and has been) handing off many of his TSW duties to others on the team. |

The Iconians are poised to invade the universe resulting in all races putting out a call for recruits to fight the threat. |

First there was the Oculus Rift, pioneering a newly discovered market segment. Now we have Sony's Project Morpheus, Steam and HTC's Vive, the Samsung Gear, and a whole host of other companies clamoring to get in on the topic while it's still hot. Since they're not widely owned yet and are still very much in developmental stages, it's tough to tell exactly how it will play out, but it's an exciting time for sure. |

The recent announcement that players would be able to trade gold or real money for a token worth 30 days of game time in the shop or auction house. Predictably, the sky began falling to some players, while others saw the new option as logical. |
General: Wave of Darkness: A Hardcore ARPG for Fans of the Genre Posted: 09 Mar 2015 08:45 AM PDT Small independent studios, Aurofinity and Dreamtrix, are about midway through a very modest KickStarter campaign for their hardcore action RPG Wave of Darkness. These are the same studios responsible for Legends of Dawn, the first in a planned trilogy of games. Wave of Darkness is, at the moment, a PC-only title and features and open, explorable world, spell generator, crafting, mini-games, and the promise of modding tools to be released at a later date. |
