As the Crow Flies

Anytime a new game is announced, the Hype Meters spike with the flood of information, speculation and downright hope that this new game will fill the void that the players feel between games. Crowfall from ArtCraft Entertainment appears to be no different. The question remains however: will the Crow fall or fly as they continue to provide more and more detail of what their game aims to be and which voids they intend to fill?

Victor Vran Announced - Action RPG from Haemimont Studios

Haemimont Studios, best known for the Tropico series of strategy titles, has revealed that it is hard at work on a new action-RPG called "Victor Vran". Next Character Class - The Fae Assassin

As Hunger Week continues on the Crowfall site, the team today revealed the Fae Assassin. The site has a nice backstory for the female character as well as an intriguing screenshot that shows her facing off against a gryphon in its "Fall" form.

RPG fans will be interested to check out the new Izle trailer by Area Effect that shows of game play details for the "100% procedurally generated worlds". According to Area Effect, Izle is a sandbox action RPG that brings player choice and creation to the forefront but each not without true consequences.

18th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards Recognize RPGs in a Big Way

Last night's D.I.C.E. Awards were handed out with Bioware's Dragon Age: Inquisition taking home both the Game of the Year and Best Roleplaying/MMO awards despite stiff and overwhelming competition from Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Mordor cleaned up eight awards but was beaten out by DAI for GotY in the end.

For those who can't get enough Dark Souls II, the wait for more is coming to an end. On April 7th, Dark Souls II will be growing with Scholar of the First Sin for XBox One, PlayStation 3 / 4 and PC (via Steam).
