It's an argument we see on our forums a lot: some folks love open FFA PVP, others hate it, some love full-loot, others loathe the very idea. But there's a lot of wiggle room in between. So we ask you today: what's your ideal form of PVP?

Due to this column's biweekly schedule, I've had a couple of weeks to think about the news that SOE was purchased by venture capitalist / technology investment firm Columbus Nova. During this fairly short span, we've already seen that the new owner isn't hesitant to make significant personnel cuts at the newly renamed Daybreak Games. As is my wont, I can't help wondering how this situation fits within and reflects the overall state of the MMOG genre.

Cosplayers unite and show off your best Warhammer 40k: Eternal Crusade look for the just-announced cosplay contest that will run from February 16th through March 31st. Cosplayers will be able to score several different prize packages that include Razer 'tactical backpacks', Xenos packs, lithographs and more.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD: 'Why We Fight' Trailer Released

A new trailer for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has been released that features a good look at the characters in the game as well as divulging the information that, while the trailer is in Japanese with English subtitles, when the game releases on March 17th, players will be able to opt for full English voice overs.
