Elder Scrolls Online: A Look Back at 2014 Posted: 30 Dec 2014 12:04 PM PST Seriously, it's the end of the year already? This year has flown by! It feels like it was just a couple of days ago I was helping to slay the werewolves of Camlorn and when it fact it was roughly 270 days ago. Time really flies when you're enjoying every moment of it. Well almost every moment of it, waiting in the LFG queue is never an enjoyable experience. Within these 38 weeks since the game released, so much has changed and improved. |

Warhammer 40.000: Eternal Crusade: Into the Void Posted: 29 Dec 2014 02:47 PM PST Greeting and salutations, Crusaders, and may I say that we, here at MMORPG.com, hope you all are enjoying a healthy and happy holiday season. This week we are going to take a look back at the final livestream of the year, Into the Warp, episode fifteen, which aired on the 19th of December. The big focus of this episode was the unveiling of about twenty or more minutes of actual game play using the current in-studio build of Eternal Crusade. |
General: Why Do MMO Kickstarters Fail? Posted: 29 Dec 2014 02:41 PM PST While going on my weekly browse through Kickstarter I noticed an area of the video games subdivision that I had never noticed before. A section that boasts there are over 100 games on Steam that were once on Kickstarter. This is a great thing for Kickstarter to brag about! Kickstarter has made some amazing games possible. Of course most of them aren't MMOs. Kickstarter has been a great platform for non-MMO indie games. |
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn: An Escape into a Virtual World of Adventure Posted: 29 Dec 2014 02:33 PM PST As my habits demand, I check on older MMOs periodically to see what's new and to possibly download a new trial or even restart an old account. I do it with EVE Online, Ultima Online and other games that just scream nostaglia. Normally I find that the games have aged well but do not change so dramatically that I feel like I am playing a brand new game. Things were different with this visit to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. |
