Elder Scrolls Online: The End Game Challenge

The End Game Challenge

Challenge, it's what we truly crave when it comes to an MMO. Especially those with a subscription fee like The Elder Scrolls Online. No one wants to throw money at a game and have everything handed to them. Okay well there are some people, but they don't count. Filthy casuals! When I say challenge, I am referring to the bang your head on the desk difficult. What I mean is something that can't be completed in eleven minutes.

Warhammer 40.000: Eternal Crusade: Transparency in Action

Transparency in Action

Back in April-ish, when I started writing about all things Eternal Crusade, I became, very involved in the Eternal Crusade forums. I realized that the community probably far more knowledgeable on the various topics being discussed, and that it might serve me well as a game-journalist (HAH!), to put together a list of people on the forums who were well-spoken, intelligent, able to converse with others of differing opinion.

General: Blizzard’s Titan is Dead

Blizzard

Luckily, the MMO is not as dead as Blizzard's Project Titan. It seems like it can't be true, right? After seven years of development, reassessing, and waiting... Blizzard is officially canceling Project Titan. As they did with Warcraft Adventures and Starcraft: Ghost, it seems the legendary studio just didn't see the merit in making Titan a reality... at least right now. Polygon broke the story today, and I think I can speak for many when I say it made me really sad.

The Trouble with Item Stores

Item Stores are a funny thing. Some people love them, some people hate them. They offer a players the opportunity to get new items, and often even new content. They help keep the world of the MMO you're in looking fresh. Or they can give you a boost to heal faster, or gain experience more quickly. The item store for The Secret World does all of this and more, and yet...there's something missing.
