March 30 Launch Marked by Diamond Promotion

After a disappointing delay, League of Angels is finally set to release March 30 and to commemorate it, publisher Koramgames is running a number of enticing promotions. The main one, the Diamond Promotion, will give players the opportunity to earn up to 1,680 Diamonds (in-game currency) to buy things like mounts, wings and weapons.

To help the team get ready, the game will be open for anyone to join in from Saturday, March 29th to Sunday, March 30th in an open server event. If you played the game Of Orcs and Men then perhaps you are familiar with Styx, the skulking goblin who helps the Orcs through the story. Well now Styx is getting his own game and this disgusting little goblin made quite an impact on us at GDC. Styx is a stealth game in the vein of Thief or Assassin's Creed. Styx is a goblin after all so going straight into a fight with warriors or inquisitors does not do well for him. He must keep hidden and find new ways to accomplish his goals.

New Name, Slightly Different Game

It felt easier to call Everquest Next: Landmark just Landmark so as to significantly differentiate it from Everquest Next (EQN). Apparently, Sony Online Entertainment agrees, and has changed the name of it's craft-heavy version of EQN to, quite simply, Landmark.
