The Secret World: Why Don't More People Play TSW? Posted: 09 Mar 2014 06:09 PM PDT Go to any forums for MMOs and you will eventually find people bemoaning the fact that every MMO out there is the same. Maybe they use words like "WoW clone" or "copycat" but the idea is always the same, there just isn't enough variety in MMOs. And yes, the industry is filled with one fantasy game after another. But there are other games that get over looked. Whenever I see someone complaining all MMOs are the same I ask them, "What about The Secret World?" |

WildStar: Too Much Hand-Holding? Posted: 10 Mar 2014 12:12 PM PDT WildStar doesn't hold your hand... it drags you by every body part in a million different directions and can leave you feeling absolutely torn on what it is you should be doing. My question for Carbine and you all is: does WildStar point the player in too many divergent directions or is more always better in an MMO trying to please so many playstyles? |

General: Massively Multiplayer Mailbag #1 - You Ask, We Answer Posted: 09 Mar 2014 03:35 PM PDT Welcome to the first Massively Multiplayer Mailbag! The way it works is simple: You ask questions about the MMO industry, whether it be about the industry, a certain type of game, or a particular game itself, and I'll give the best answer I can based on the current available facts and observable trends, both past and future. It's like those sports columns where someone asks the columnist if he thinks Player A will hit 40 home runs or Team B will win the Super Bowl. |
