PWE CEO Confirms PS4 & XBox One Versions

From the better-late-than-never files, 2P.com reported that Perfect World Entertainment CEO Xiao Hong confirmed that Neverwinter will be arriving for both the PlayStation 4 and the XBox 1 consoles, though the timing is as yet unclear. You may remember that PWE launched a console-only division late in 2013.

Carbine has lifted the level limit to level 29, allowing us to explore deeper into Nexus and report back on what we find. Over the coming days and weeks, I'll be entering the Ruins of Kel Voreth dungeon and creeping around the contested zone of Whitevale. Today though, I'm starting out in Auroria: the first post-15 zone.

Character Wipe & Server Reset Announced

Salem players have been informed by the development team that, in preparation for a large update, all characters will be wiped and that servers will be completely reset. Because of extensive reworking of several in-game functions, the team felt this was the better option. Players will not lose purchased items or items gained by preordering Salem. The wipe is expected to take place approximately two weeks from now.

Perfect World Entertainment and UOL BoaCompra have announced a partnership to bring Neverwinter to Brazil. The game has been fully localized in Portuguese and UOL has exclusive monetization rights for Brazil.

24-Hour Games Charity Event Coming This Weekend

Jagex has announced that this weekend will feature a Runescape 24-hour games charity event to benefit SpecialEffect's inaugural GameBlast. During the event, developers and community members will play RuneScape via live stream. Jagex will also be conducting in-game events, including the Well of Goodwill that allows players to donate game currency that will later be exchanged for real-world cash. Players can also purchase special event avatar tunics.

PvP Skirmishes & Spectator Invites Incoming

The official World of Warcraft site has been updated with news about some new things coming to PvP when Warlords of Draenor goes live later this year. The team has plans to add "skirmish" PvP matches, basically unranked 2v2 or 3v3 events that will reward players with honor, small amount of Conquest points and/or a random item. In addition, spectator invites will be made available to give viewers a chance to check out high-end tournament action.

$60 for a Level 90 Character Boost? Say It Ain

WowInsider.com is reporting that the World of Warcraft live servers with the new cash shop items in it are showing a "Level 90 Character Boost" for the whopping price of $60.00. According to the report, it appears that this is a mistake on Blizzard's part since pre-orders for the Warlords of Draenor expansion have yet to go live, which will also include one free character boost to 90.
