World of Tanks: "Confrontation" Game Arrives with Update 8.11 Posted: 11 Feb 2014 06:35 AM PST Wargaming has announced that the latest update for World of Tanks has been deployed. With Update 8.11, players will be able to take part in a new game play mode called "Confrontation". Confrontation balances teams according to nation, with the current exclusion of Japanese and Chinese tanks. To show off Confrontation, the team has released a new video. This time, the Eldan Caretaker is the star and he teases fans with "virtual adventures", small group missions where choices reign and reward is great. PlanetSide 2: World Domination Series Preseason 2 Event Announced Posted: 10 Feb 2014 10:16 AM PST Sony Online entertainment and the PlanetSide 2 team have announced the World Domination Series (WDS) Preseason 2 Challenge Event. According to the team, major adjustments to the event have been implemented after player feedback from the inaugural event. Each week, SOE will compile each Empire's score. At the end of the preseason the overall winner will be announced, with players receiving a commemorative in-game item as a reward. |
Guild Wars 2: The Edge of the Mists is Living Story Done Right Posted: 09 Feb 2014 12:43 PM PST The Guild Wars 2 Living Story started out strong offering nice bits of narrative, and introducing us to a whole new cast of characters. Over time updates began to showcase less story, and focused more on combat. It seemed the "story" part was missing. Then came the newest additions to Guild Wars 2: The Origins of Madness, and The Edge of the Mists. The tale ArenaNet wants to weave is now once again becoming the main focus, which is something players have been wanting. |

The team has released a new video to show off the game in action and shows off racing locations from Moscow to London and more. According to press information, the game will allow interconnected players to "team up and compete in an ever-expanding number of gameplay modes where completing team-based objectives determines the victor." |
