Elder Scrolls Online: Why Would a Non-Elder Scrolls Fan Play ESO? Posted: 13 Jan 2014 05:27 PM PST The Elder Scrolls Online is set to be one of the "big" games of 2014, something both marvelous and frightening at the same time. ESO comes with both the boon and the burden of Skyrim behind it. Luckily, the development team seems to be taking that challenge to heart. What about those of us who dearly love both RPGs and MMOs who have never plunged headlong into Skyrim and don't know much about the whole universe? What will compel us to want to play Elder Scrolls Online? |

General: Why You Should Give Marvel Heroes Another Look Posted: 14 Jan 2014 10:39 PM PST When we gave Marvel Heroes a 5.6 in our review last June, the game most certainly deserved it. In fact, when I first saw MH at a game convention around six months before launch, I thought it looked terrible. I eventually got a chance to play in the beta and the game was definitely rough, but I could see the potential as it improved towards launch. Still, those improvements weren't enough, and the game launched a hot mess. |

Hex: Cory Jones Dishes Alpha Details Posted: 13 Jan 2014 05:17 PM PST When I first saw Hex:The Shards of Fate, it was knee deep in the trenches of a very strong Kickstarter campaign and well on its way to completing another stretch goal. But the samurai bunnies and ogres were still waiting to manifest in a playable version of the game. Quite a few months have passed since then. Now that the Kickstarter is done and the alpha is in full swing though, it was time to see the core game functions in action. |
