'Combat Arms' Rises with 'Operation: Neptune'

Nexon adds a new submarine map, items, and features in the November content update

Action fans can now infiltrate the newly constructed submarine base in "Combat Arms," Nexon's high intensity free-to-play first-person shooter game. The completion of this top-secret project has been leaked to enemy squads, who are organizing to seize and unleash the destructive capabilities of the submarine's nuclear power. Players can fight in the corridors above the Submarine, or snipe from the balconies overlooking it. Soldiers must tread carefully, as those who attempt to access the map's Submarine level will self-destruct.

Nexon also added the M99-II Sniper Rifle to "Combat Arms," as the first Chinese weapon in the game. The anti-material rifle can unleash devastating force against enemy soldiers.

Players can also look forward to opening the new MYST Supply Crate. Hailed as the MYST-India, the Crate includes the brand new NX-Rare Assault Rifle, AT-22. MYST Supply Crates contain NX-Rare and NX-Standard weapons with a chance of scoring one for a Permanent duration.

Players can now get pumped for battle by listening to their own music in the game lobby. Adding music files to the "Combat Arms'" Jukebox folder lets players groove to their favorite tunes while synchronizing their victory dance.

The clock is ticking faster as "Combat Arms" players anticipate the unveiling of the massive Black Friday Blow-Up sale event. Every week leading up to Nov. 25, players will be challenged to reach a designated number of "Like"s on the "Combat Arms'" Facebook page. Reaching that number will upgrade the event by adding even more weapons to the sale list. One example of the spectacular deals that players are looking forward to unlocking is the MYST-Infinity case, which guarantees a Permanent duration primary weapon every time.

The Final Evolution of Aika Online's Beloved Pran Companion Has Arrived

Aika Epic II: Karena Goes Live with Long-Awaited New Content

Sunnyvale, Calif. – November 17, 2011 From the first day they summoned their pint-sized fairy friend, every Aika Online player has waited for the day when she would reach her full power as an Adult Pran. That day has finally come with the release of Aika Epic II: Karena on November 17, which introduces the long-awaited final evolution of the pran. Players will need every ounce of their pran's new strength to defend the island of Karena from evil and seize glory for themselves in the revised Relic War system.

Each pran begins life as an inquisitive fairy no bigger than your hand, and over time evolves into a loyal battle companion with a personality shaped by her master's actions. Now, teenage prans can join their masters on a quest to craft a Pran Evolution Stone that will transform her into her adult form and open up two powerful skills to help her master in combat. Each pran will also gain her adult wings, with a style determined by her personality, and she can dress in stylish new costumes and accessories which can be augmented through the new Pran Enchantment System to give stat boosts.

But evil looms over this happy day, as the resource rich island of Karena is under threat from the Zereca, Arcan's oldest enemy. The nations have banded together to build a new weapon, the Caelium Cannon, with the power to drive away these fiends – but only if it can be finished in time! Players must defend the cannon from the raiding Zerecan forces and escort it safely to the enemy's stronghold to end this threat to Karena at last.

Despite the danger, Arcan's warring factions continue to fight amongst themselves for the greatest glory, and the game's massive PvP system receives its latest upgrade with an overhaul of the popular Relic War System. Now powerful relics, including several new ones, will be more difficult to acquire but easier to upgrade, so that great risk leads to great reward. Each nation can now upgrade their relics to level 3 and take advantage of the most powerful buffs to defeat their foes – at least as long as they can defend the relics they have captured from the organized assaults of rival nations.

Pick your pran and join the fight today!  Visit the official Aika site for more information on the epic battles to come.

Eligium announces closed beta

Posted: 17 Nov 2011 04:32 PM PST

Frogster revealed today that Eligium – The Chosen One will begin its closed beta testing on December 19.

In addition, details about the mount system in Eligium were released. Mounts are initially cared for by purchasing an egg from a vendor, and then raising it. Once they reach adolescence, mounts can offer stat bonuses, but cannot carry players until they are full grown. Once full grown, these mounts can also be equipped and offer greater stat boosts. Players will be able to fight from the backs of their mounts in battle, making mounts valuable companions.

Frogster also publishes Runes of Magic.

Raise Your Mount, Soon!

Closed Beta Date Announced and First Glimpse at the Mount System

As Frogster gears up to the launch of ELIGIUM – The Chosen One, it can today unveil the starting date for the closed beta and reveal more information on one of its many features; preparing fans for their pursuit to become the chosen one.  On December 19th the closed beta will get underway, so to sign up just head over to the official website, www.eligium.com.

More information on the game's mounts has also been released, as well as a collection of artworks from the developer, which promise to add a unique twist to the much loved feature.

My Kingdom for a Horse!
Every mount's primary function is to bring its rider to their point of destination, without the arduous task of walking across mountains to get there. However, in ELIGIUM players can also ride their mounts straight into the heart of battle, without having to worry about dismounting. Of course, in order to make the most of them, players should take care to properly develop their mounts, such as by feeding them, otherwise a victorious charge could well turn into a painful embarrassment.

The process of raising your first mount begins with an egg; obtained from the many vendors found littered throughout the world.  Once your mount has grown to adolescence it will give a boost to its owner's stats, but is not yet able to carry its master.  But once fully grown, mounts can take part in battles alongside their owners, becoming extremely powerful allies, and by equipping mounts with powerful items certain attributes can grow stronger.

Luvinia Online Expansion Ushers Age of Enlightenment

As expansive as the universe that houses the stars, an expansive mind shines with knowledge

SAN FRANCISCO – November 17, 2011 – Luvinia Online, the newest MMORPG from Outspark, is getting its first major expansion, the Age of Enlightenment. The new expansion brings a plethora of new features to the game, including a level cap increase, two new and massive dungeons, exciting new maps to explore, and plenty of new quests and content to discover that help further the exciting Luvinia storyline.

Perhaps the most anticipated feature coming in the patch is the inclusion of the 2nd tier subclasses. This new set of subclasses unlocks 12 unique roles for the game, available to the player at level 80. This new level of subclasses allows even more specialization and sometimes hybridization of a character, such as the Warrior class being able to pick the Paladin subclass. Additionally, the Paladin offers a variety of supportive and offensive buffs along with the defensive abilities of its parent class.

The new subclasses will require players to transverse the new Knowledge Pagoda which will be released with the expansion. In the floors of this seemingly giant book depository, players will partake in quests and acquire the items necessary to advance to the subclass of their choice. This new area will challenge players and advance the rich and elaborate personal storyline that develops as players immerse themselves in the game.

"We've been working hard with the developer, Shanda Entertainment, to get this anticipated expansion ready for our players," noted Philip Yun, CEO of Outspark. "We are committed to keeping Luvinia Online full of great content to engage both new and veteran players of the game and we know that the Age of Enlightenment is the first of many great expansions to come."
The expansion is currently scheduled for release on November 30th as part of the normal server maintenance for the game. As the launch day comes closer, there will be more information released on the new dungeons and the level cap raised, along with a few more details about new subclasses.
