General: New Images from Unnamed MMO Released

Carbine Studios has released a pair new images from its as-yet unnamed MMO. The first is called the "Welcome Wagon" and features a ton of creepy crawlie bots looking rather...hungry. The second is a great look at outer space. The images were taken from a trailer that will be revealed at this year's Gamescom.

Guild Wars 2: Dream & Nightmare

As Sylvari Week closes on the Guild Wars 2 blog, the final post has been published that gives a lot of historical background about the race. Called "Dream & Nightmare", the post details lore behind The Pale Tree, describes the Dream of Dreams, biology, the Nightmare Court and more.

Lineage 2: New Classes, Zone & Raid Boss Detailed

A new Lineage II blog has cropped up with information about two new classes, a new zone and a new raid boss that will be featured in the Goddess of Destruction update scheduled to be rleased later this fall. The Othell Rogue and Aeore Healer are detailed and fans can also learn about the Prison of Darkness zone and Spezion, the raid boss who lives within.

Dragon Nest: Cash Shop Opens & New High Level Dungeon

Nexon has announced that the cash shop and a new high-level dungeon for Dragon Nest have been added to the game as the North American open beta continues. Players will be able to use "scales", or the in-game currency, that they have earned during the open beta to purchase items from the Dragon Vault (in-game shop).

Star Trek Online: August Ask Cryptic Hints at New Content

In a massive new Ask Cryptic, Star Trek Online's Dan Stahl takes on player questions and publishes over five thousand words as a result. Included in the Q&A is a question about when players might expect to see some new content coming into the game.

General: Combat Arms: New Game Play & Battle Zone Deployed

Nexon has announced that its MMOFPS, Combat Arms, has been updated with a new PvP game mode and a new battle zone. Hired Guns is a team vs. team battleground that also allows players to hire and utilize mercenaries to assist in goal completion. The battle zone, Blood Money, has also been added to the game.

General: Dream Drop: A New Fairy Tale Based MMO

Gamania has revealed a new MMORPG game called Dream Drop. The game is inspired by fairy tales and allows players to find, win or purchase puppets to accompany them throughout the game world. Accompanying the announcement is a new website with a first-look trailer and a Facebook fan page.

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures: The King's Reward for All

Funcom has announced that over two million folks have lined up to try out Age of Conan since launch. To celebrate the milestone event, one character on each player's account will receive The King's Reward. The package is found under 'special offers' and contains, according to devs, a variety of useful potions.
