Final Fantasy XIV: Producer's Letter Asks for Feedback

In the latest Final Fantasy XIV producer's letter, Naoki Yoshida tables the preview of v1.19 originally planned to thank players for their feedback on v1.18. Players have been quite vocal on the FFXIV forums about issues encountered with v1.18's arrival. Yoshi tells players that the feedback will help the team determine where further adjustment/balancing needs to occur.

AdventureQuest Worlds: Doomwood Saga Ending in Sight

Artix Entertainment has announced that Friday, August 29th will bring to an epic conclusion the very popular AdventureQuest Worlds' Doomwood Saga storyline. The storyline began in late May and has continued with weekly updates all leading up to Friday's conclusion.

MapleStory: Ice Knight Update Deployed

MapleStory players have a new battle mode to participate in with the recent "Ice Knight" update. The Ice Knight Battle mode also includes a series of events that will run from now through August 9th.

A new research group from the University of Minnesota will be researching MMO players to identify what "makes them tick" to give developers a way to provide gamers with a better experience overall. The software helps researchers determine psychological motivations behind player actions and reactions to various gaming components including in-game purchases.

Eden Eternal: The Heroic Trials Added

Aeria Games has posted the latest patch notes for Eden Eternal. While most of the update features bug fixes and addresses known issues, players will be happy to note that a pair of new dungeons called "The Heroic Trials" have been added. The new dungeons are designed for level 50 players, one for a group of five, the other for a group of eight.

Lineage 2: Rabbit Rampage Arriving July 27th

Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures: All Your Base Are Belong to Us!

Sony Online Entertainment recently introduced a multiplayer extension of one of their most popular mini games in Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures. The original mini-game, Republic Defender, was a smash, but single-player, hit. With the new addition called "Galactic Forces", players have the chance to take one another on in a tower defense battle royale.
