Firefall: Red 5 and Webzen Enter Legal Dispute

According to a pair of press release statements, global publisher Webzen and Red 5 have entered into legal wrangling centered around the development and publication of Firefall. Red 5 Studios has filed for arbitration against Webzen for "alleged breach of obligations" and is seeking to recoup $5 million. Webzen has responded by saying that it has more than fulfilled its obligations and vigorously denies the allegations.

Final Fantasy XIV: Auto Attack Reform

Final Fantasy XIV devs have put up a new article featuring a look at upcoming changes to the Auto Attack System. Among other reforms, the most compelling is the removal of the stamina system in favor of the overhauled auto attack feature. Devs have detailed how those changes will be implemented in the next patch as well as subsequent patches.

General: Rusty Hearts to Show at Anime Expo

Perfect World Entertainment has announced that it will be showcasing Rusty Hearts, one of the latest additions to the PWE MMO portfolio of games, at this year's Anime Expo in Los Angeles. The Expo will be held on July 1-3. Game producer Rusty Hill will be on hand to answer fan questions as well as live stream a demo of the game. In addition, fans have the chance to win an awesome package of prizes.

World of Warcraft: WoW Goes Free To Play Soon (...Sort Of!)

General: Sony Introduces All Access Gaming

Sony Online Entertainment has announced a new program that will replace Station Access. Called "All Access Gaming", the new program features a single price depending on how much game time is purchased. The AAG can then be used in any game that SOE currently has in its stable of games.

Battle of the Immortals: New Titanic-Sized Boss Coming

Perfect World Entertainment has announced that a new Titan Update is on the way with a Titanic-sized boss coming with it. Kronos comes in at nearly 100 feet tall! The update will also introduce two new maps and es expected to deploy soon.

World of Tanks: v6.5 Update Arriving June 30th

Wargaming.net has announced that the v6.5 update will arrive on June 30th. The patch brings a pair of new maps to the game as well as the American tank destroyer line and a pair of light tanks in both American and Russian flavors.
